Rivals top QB recruit Gunner Kiel has verbally committed to play ball with the bruvas at LSU. He says:


Coming from a basically all-white HS and community in Indiana, he's in for a big culture shock at LSU and in Baton Rouge. Perhaps he should take the short eastern commute to New Orleans to meet with Drew Brees. At the very least, he can learn some routines to "fire up" the natives.

Gunner just bailed out on LSU and now is going to Notre Dame. The story tries to portray him as something of a flake, but I figure that he probably took a little more time to investigate LSU and Baton Rouge and the thug life wasn't for him.

You were right on with your prediction footballdad.

I am hoping Mettenberger pans out for LSU, he was a big time recruit but got booted from UGA. As for Kiel going to ND, I am happy with that as well...might as well spread the white QB talent level around.

I think its really good news antime that the better white QBs stay away from the SEC. LSU makes Notre Dame look like Air Force by comparison.
