WVU had 10 white starters last year, 9 in 2007, and 11 in 2006. Hopefully WR Carmen Connolly will have a great season, as the QB once again is black.

What is so pathetic about this is that it probably won't help the two white QBs on the roster a bit. They have too many blacks that they view as better. What a load of BS! I hope their blackletes throw picks left and right and lose games for them.

West Virginia freshman quarterback Eugene Smith (black) has broken a bone in
his left foot and is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks, team officials said.

Smith,
a 6-foot-4, 190-pounder from Miramar, Fla., was the prized recruit in
the Mountaineers' 2009 signing class. He was expected to battle for the
No. 2 quarterback job behind Jarrett Brown (black) right away and eventually
take over the position.

The injury occurred late last week in an
unspecified off-the-field incident. The recovery timetable means he
could miss all or part of West Virginia's preseason camp.
