Temple has been one of the worst team in the FBS for the last several years. Their anti-whiteness is undoubtedly one cause of their lack of success. With a starting roster including just 5 whites in 2006, they regressed to having only 4 white starters in 2007 and 2008. Well, things are a little better this year, but not much. The defensive two-deep is a near blackout, except for a rare starting Boundary Cornerback in Anothony Ferla, and a backup Free Safety, Kevin Kroboth, who should see some action this year.

Temple is like the Illinois of the MAC. Virtually all of their conference opponents will be about twice as white.

does anyone know what happened to Anthony Ferla this year? the coaches were raving about him before the season started, but by the end of the year he was hardly seeing any action. and in Temple's bowl game, he only made the briefest of appearances.

i know he missed last year due to injury, and maybe that has something to do with his playing time this season ... but reports had said he was healthy in the fall.
