FIU started its foray into FBS football in 2005 with 11 white starters. In 2006, that number fell drastically to 5 and dropped to 4 in 2007. In 2008, they had 7 white starters. Nice to see an increase this year, but it needs to be even more.

What the hell was that guy doing on a college campus? When are the athletic departments going to get the blame for bringing the worst elements of society to a university?

Uh, icsept, that is the "face" of virtually every campus in the country. Just ask Jimmy Chitwood. The vast majority of universities in this great land of ours are almost all white, with a percentage of Asian and Latino students. Most of the lovely gents pictured in the previous post are part of the "affletic" programs, which is the only way the most of these folks make it to a major university. It's affirmative action in action!
