MLB Scott McKillop is a BEAST! He has the talent to be a 1st RD pick in the NFL. HE's that good!

Yes, Scott onlybecame a starterlast season, laboring as a backup behind blacks in 2005 and 2006. He dominated last year and led the country in tackles with 12.58 per game. Unreal!

Yes I watched him and he is a bigger version of Zach Thomas. He is athletic, fast and smart.

A pretty poor Pitt promo of Scott Mckillop....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhXvOxSW3BA

I'm about speechless. About half of the 31 seconds is Scott --- and then the images of several bruthas are shoved in our grills. They make up the last half of the short video.

Why even make a subpar "promo" like this? After the short intro, the WHOLE rest of the SHORT video should have featured Scott's accomplishments.

The 1 comment below the video is very true though.Edited by: Deadlift

Last week's Sports Illustrated refers to McKillop as "an overachiever of the highest order" in its preview of Pitt.

I watched the video on Youtube. It did diminish McKillop and what he means to the team. About 80% of that should have had his accomplishments. The only brotha who deserves even a mention is LeShan McCoy (#25) who is one of the best RBs around. Good as McCoy is, McKillop is a freakin pit bull unleashed and is the heart of the team. He needs to get his due this year. The Pitt team may be on the rise...But if they falter, they should get rid of Dave W. once and for all. He seems to rise from the dead like a bad zombie movie.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pitt freshman wide receiver and kick returner Cameron Saddler will miss the season because of a knee injury.
<DIV =in_info__btm>

Saddler tore his anterior cruciate ligament during a punt return drill on Tuesday. He had an MRI exam Thursday and will have surgery. Saddler will redshirt the season, the team said Thursday.

Saddler is the second Pitt player to sustain a season-ending knee injury in preseason camp. Junior redshirt defensive end Doug Fulmer tore ligaments in his left knee on Sunday.

Pittsburgh started a black at center and an ALL-black D-line.

Shane Murray sustained a season-ending injury early in the season.

Sophomore Dom DeCicco has 3 interceptions on the season.

All-world tackling LB Scott McKillop gets bashed by one of the Sporting News' Caste clowns. Most white defensive players are routinely bashed every year beginning about this time leading up to the draft.

Senior Bowl Dish: Raji, Robiskie, Ayers impress

Scott McKillop, LB, Pittsburgh: Looks slow-footed and unathletic. Really looks limited playing in space and will be limited at the next level because of it.

<div>Suspended Porter and Duhart decide to leave Pitt for good.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Senior wide receiver T.J. Porter and senior
defensive lineman Tommie Duhart have left Pitt's football team and plan
to transfer to another school, according to a statement issued by coach
Dave Wannstedt.
</div>

Both players were suspended from spring practice for disciplinary reasons and were dropped from the depth chart.

Porter,
from Pahokee, Fla., was Pitt's third-leading receiver last season with
25 catches for 357 yards. He had four receptions for a career-high 109
yards against Rutgers. Porter had 65 catches for 704 yards and no
touchdowns in three seasons, making all five of his career starts as a
junior in 2007.

Duhart, from Belle Glade, Fla., started four
times while playing 19 games in two seasons. His best game came when he
had five tackles and a sack during Pitt's 13-9 upset of then-No. 2 West
Virginia in 2007.
