SS Bennen Biaimonte-was a FS last year but it appears NMSU has changed their defense to a rare 5-1-5 scheme with two strong safeties

The 5-1-5 defense is VERY rare to be played. I never understood the advantages of it except with the 5 man front you can just kill teams such as Army, Air Force, ect...that run the ball a lot with motions and option type stuff. However, you rarely face those teams now a days so I still don't see why a team would choose to play with this front.
