MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The parents of a University of Memphis football player shot to death on campus filed a $4 million wrongful death suit, claiming the school failed to provide proper security.

Taylor Bradford was shot to death on Sept. 30 in a botched robbery attempt.
The suit asks for $4 million in damages, alleging the university was negligent by not having more security officers and surveillance cameras.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal reported the four men charged with murder in the case also are named as defendants in the Circuit Court suit filed Thursday on behalf of Jimmie and Marva Bradford.
Bradford was in his car when he was shot and managed to drive away from his attackers. He was found mortally wounded a few blocks away.
University spokesman Curt Guenther said the school had no comment because its attorneys had not seen the suit.
