Senior forward Tyler Hansbrough, North Carolina. "Psycho T" was the 2007-08 National Player of the Year despite being "un-athletic." The senior is a 3-time first-team All-American, and barring injury will be the the first-ever ACC player to be a 4-time first-team All-American. His 35 career double-doubles is 20 more than the next closest player in the ACC.
Junior forward Luke Harangody, Notre Dame. Harangody is an incredibly effective and productive college basketball player. The #3 returning scorer in the NCAA (#1 from a BCS conference team), he is also the #5 rebounder (#3 among BCS schools) and is in the Top 25 in a host of other categories. Senior forward Jon Brockman, Washington. The nation's leading returning rebounder, Brockman has led the Pac-10 in rebounding the past two seasons and Washington in every year he's played. Should become the first-ever player to lead Washington in rebounds for 4 years. Brockman is also tied for the top returning scorer in the Pac-10. (video included on bio page)
Senior guard Lee Cummard, BYU. The high-flying Mountain West Co-Player of the Year last season, Cummard led the Cougars in scoring, field-goal percentage, three-point percentage, and blocked shots. He was second on the team in rebounding, assists, steals, and free-throw percentage. He ranked in the Top 10 in the MWC in eight statistical categories from his 2-guard spot. Sophomore guard Nick Calathes, Florida. An incredible passer and creative scorer at the point guard position, Calathes led the SEC in assists and Florida in scoring a year ago in one of the most impressive freshmen years in Florida Gator history. He set UF freshman records in scoring, assists, and assists-per-game. At 6-6, Calathes is a match-up nightmare, and he is an outstanding rebounder for a point guard as his triple-double against Creighton (only the second triple-double in Florida history) attests.
