Defensive Ends:
all in all great year for white DEs, Vanden Bosch and Schobel were both in top five in the NFL in sacks, Allen was 9th, plenty of career best achievements down the list...
plus unlike some other positions were there's no fresh blood coming into the NFL, Wistrom (29)and Schobel (28)are the oldest, and with many young players like Allen, Kampman, LaBoy, Castillo and Olshansky who should be a force for years to come defensive end looks like a position that will not succumb to black domination easily, even when there's so many more black players out there (percentage-wise having 3 white guys in top ten in NFL sacks is a great achievemnt all in itself)

Kyle Vanden Bosch, Titans: 65 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 4 FF, 1 FR</font>
comments: breakthrough season for this player, after 3 terrible years in Arizona when he had 4 sacks, he exploded in Tennessee, finished 4th in the league in sacks

Aaron Schobel, Bills: 71 tackles, 12 sacks, 1 INT, 4 passes defended</font>, 2 FF, 1 FR
comments: another great season by Schobel, his 71 tackles were 4th among all linemen

Jared Allen, Chiefs: 55 tackles, 11 sacks, 7 FF, 2 FR, 5 passes defended</font>
comments: after great rookie campaign Allen confirmed that he is no fluke and suffered no sophomore slump, he is best white pass rusher at the moment, has both strength and speed...his 7 forced fumbles were second in the NFL!

Aaron Kampman, Packers: 81 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 3 FF, 2 pass defended</font>
comments: 81 combined tackles, is second tackle count among all linemen

Patrick Kerney, Falcons: 53 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 3 FF, 3 FR

Travis LaBoy, Titans: 41 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 1 FR</font>

Justin Smith, Bengals: 65 tackles, 6 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 2 passes defended

Rob Meier, Jaguars: 31 tackles, 6 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR</font>

Grant Wistrom, Seahawks: 52 tackles, 4 sacks, 6 passes defended</font>

Ryan Denney, Bills: 45 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 passes defended, 1 FR</font>

Luis Castillo</font>, Chargers: 49 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 FF, 3 passes defended

Igor Olshansky, Chargers: 29 tackles, 3 sacks

Brett Keisel, Steelers: 33 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 passes defended, 1 FF, 1 FR</font>

Jared DeVries, Lions: 22 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 FR</font>

Chris Kelsey, Bills: 44 tackles</font>, 2.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR

Aaron Smith, Steelers: 39 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 INT</font>

Jarrett Johnson, Ravens: 38 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 1 FF</font>

Matt Roth</font>, Dolphins: 20 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FR

Tyler Brayton, Raiders: 20 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF

Joe Tafoya, Seahawks: 29 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF, 1 FR

BLUE</font> denoted career high

Some of these guys should be starters. Jarrett Johnson has a lot of talent, as does Brett Keisel. Keisel had two sacks against the Lions yesterday when the Steelers were only rushing their usual three linemen. He has more sacks than any linemen on the team despite very limited playing time.

It's great to see Vanden Bosch and Kampman, who were always described as fill-in journeymen types, acknowledged as top players at their position.

P.S. Not to nitpick backrow, because you're doing a great job with the stats, but Shaun Cody is a light-skinned black.

thanks for the input Don, yeah i will take Cody off of my list i never had time to properly investigate and thought he might be of hispanic descent but it seems he is just mixed; and as we all know half white, half black players are black in the eyes of NFL and caste system so they don't have to go through the same pains as most white, polynesian, hispanic and asian players do...
