Yes, that's right. FIU has made it to the big league that is Division 1A. Do they have what it takes to survive? We will see. I am proud to present the first ever list of white starters from Florida International, which includes a few surprises, considering the overall racial makeup of the team.

Offense
QB-Josh Padrick Went from 3'rd string to FIU's most valuable player in 2004!
RB-Adam Gorman This guy was the leading rusher in the spring game and will battle for the starting job. He had 3 100 yard rushing games in 2003 after replacing injured black backs and missed 5 100 yard games by a total of 9 yards. In my book, he gets the nod this year. Unfortunately, we'll have to see what the Caste System decides.
LT-John Shanahan 6-6 315 with speed!
LG-Ed Wenger
C-Victor Cernius
RG-Ronny Silva
RT-Tim Dierks

Defense
RCB-Matt Castillo Rare white CB who started his first games in 2003 and all of last years! Look for big things from this guy who makes his biggest plays in the big games.
SS-John Hariton 2004's leading tackler, and all conference for 03 and 04!
LCB-Nick Turnbull Returning Starter
SLB-Lance Preston Returning Starter

FB Orlando Cicilia will see the field this year, along with WR Dan Landrau, FL Chris Patullo, TE James Williams, and LT Patrick Mullen. C/RG Mike Alvarez will be seeing playing time, along with NG Nick Carreno and LT Calixto Bello. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

It looks like Adam Gorman has been demoted to 3'rd string. He has 28 carries for 79 yards and a TD on the year.
