Good fight, I thought it should have been stopped earlier though. It was very one-sided in the second half, Cotto was taking a bad beating.
I doubt if the chicken-hearted Floyd Mayweather will ever agree to fight Pacquiao.

I think Floyd may actually do it. It's common knowledge that Floyd doesn't want to tarnish his undefeated streak. But Floyd loves money and there is way too much money to be made in a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. The thing is will his ego let him do it for a 50-50 split even if he stand to make up to 30 million after PPV sales. HBO, Vegas money and the public are already pushing for it. Floyd is a good boxer to be fair. But does he have the heart like Pacquiao and Cotto just displayed. Manny will be his biggest test by far and I don't see Floyd winning it at this point.
I learned a couple of years ago never to bet against Pacman. But somehow he still amazes me. I thought now way could he stand up to Cotto's body attack and head shots but he did. Miguel was able to sting him but never rattle or hurt.
Pacman has amazing speed and able to pin point his power shots. No way did I see him toying with Cotto in the second half of the fight. Wow.
The thing that Manny has that even the most elite fighters don't have is increbible stamina. He just doesn't get tired, in some ways gets stronger as the fight progresses, especially after gaining weight. He is indeed a special fighter and great person.
I guess he will be able to perform his concert at the Manalay Bay Casino. It was great fight.

Yes William Hung will have his concert. He is the greatest small fighter ever. He has to be no fighter has ever done what he has done. Going from 112 to 147 and winning world belts is unprecedented. People marveled at Duran going from 135 to 160 (and challenging for a a watered down 168 belt), but that was "just" 25 pounds. Also Manny hasn't lost any hand speed and has retained most of his power. By the way will Manny sing She Bangs?

Did I just hear there are 17 white champs from Middleweight to Heavyweight again? I haven't had the time to follow this forum lately. But just think...the cultural Marxists try to tell us "we can't fight", but we are 85% of the worlds' best boxers- for men of solid size- when we are only 75% of the U.S population. Congratulations to Pac Man, the world's best P4P boxer right now! I hope he fights Mayweather and I predict he beat him. Pac-Man is humble and a great role model for Asian athletes. Although not held back as much as whites, Asians are victims of the caste system too.

ToughJ actually there is 18. I made a mistake not including Michael Katsidis. He is Greek. Does anyone know anything about Sergio Gabriel Martinez? Fromthe looks of it he is Spanish so he can be included as a 19th champion.

Having been around the internet to other sports sites, I just want to say how refreshing it is to read the boxing threads (indeed, all threads) on CF, because there isn't any white supremacist posturing going on, and it's just fair-minded, "may the best man win" spirit that is exhibited everywhere.
For example, on another boxing site, Pacman is routinely insulted for his race, often called the most hateful names, and yet here, even on a site that celebrates white athletes, any athlete of any color gets respect if he deserves it.
One can't say that about every website, even supposedly mainstream ones have racist, anti-white, blatantly pro-black messages everywhere.

I know what you mean GM. I used to post at a certain boxing site before I got tired of the nonsense there. I noticed all of the anti-white and anti-hispanic stuff is pretty much ignored by the moderators. You could last weeks, even months bashing whites & hispanics but say one little anti-black or anti-jewish thing and you'll be banned instantly. I never said racial stuff on there but I saw a lot of it. I save my boxing posts for CF.
Not to mention boxing forums are flooded with DWFs. They seem to think it's a crime to be white and root for a white

Yeah - Pacquiao is definitely one of the greatest boxers of all time. If he beats Mayweather - which I think he will - Manny has to be considered top 3 or top 5 of all time. Look at all the names on his resume: Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Hatton, De la Hoya, Cotto.
And he keeps getting better and more dominant as he moves up in weight! We are truly seeing an artist when he fights.Edited by: Liverlips
