i've never heard the term, Carolina Speed. could you enlighten me?
I will try to paste the article here tomorrow, I'm not quite sure how to do it, but here's what Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema called an "Eraser"
An "Eraser is a hardworking, blue-collar, dedicated student, probably ("White") football player who is asked to walk-on, not receiving a scholarship, No he covers for the 3-star scholarship player probably("black"), who is high-risk because he may flunk out, thug out, whatever, etc. If the high-risk (most cases) black player works out, then you get 2 for the price of one, but if the high-risk player flunks out or whatever else can happen, then the white walk-on gets his scholarship.
The walk-on "ERASES's the "recruiting mistake" made by the recruiters, thus the term "ERASER" is deemed to the hard-working, dedicated white student athlete!
Some may call me a racist for calling the walk-on white and the scholarship athlete black, but the article goes on to mention the following players who were preferred walk-ons: All White to the best of my knowledge.
Jim Leonhard with the N.Y. Jets
Aaron Rodgers/ Green Bay
Jordy Nelson/ Green Bay
Michigan's/Jordan Kovacs
Stanford's/Griff Whalen
Wisconsin's Jared Abbrederis was going to receive a scholarship after his Freshman year, but then black quarterback Russell Wilson arrived, so they decided Mr. Abbrederis wasn't worthy!
3 of 5 Nebraska's starting Offensive linemen were preferred walk-ons. (wonder what color they are)?
We all can name many more!
Every school that finished in the top 12 with the exception of LSU and Arkansas had atleast 1 preferred walk-on that started!
This a crime! Something should be done about this. This is racism against white high school football players period!
There's more to the article and again I will try to post it tomorrow, but this is the what it states for the most part.
