At the recent National Showcase, the biggest camp of the year with all the top players it was a great year for white runners. In fact Mitchell Shiflett a sprinter out of VA ran the fastest ever 60 yard dash at a mind numbing 6.11 seconds. No that is not a misprint. This beat the old record by Xavier Avery 6.18 last year.
I do believe these times are a little too quick but still Shiflett is the fastest HS white athlete I remember since Chad Green for OH who played at Kentucky in the 90's.
Also some more speed guys.
Matt Lipka 6.35
Krey Bratsen 6.36--a punter prospect too Bratsen has blinding speed and acceleration and is a top prospect.
Sean Coyle 6.4 and a SS to boot
Anthony D'Alessandro 6.48
Cory Hahn 6.52
Jake Skole 6.54
Zac Houck 6.55
Also Michael Arencibia ran a 6.38 he looks whitish probably Cuban
and class of 2011 guy to keep an eye on TJ Costen a great propect who ran a sizzling 6.41

It is very important that white speed show up at HS events so a great showing overall.
Yeh there were some very fast black guys too but this was a much better showing for whites than recent years in terms of speed.
