sh*t, i just found out that Toby had a 40 yard TD run against WF, a week before that got rolled back on a really bad call. he's on pace for 1200 yards and 16 TDs atm.
i wouldn't agree with you guys, while Brady and Welker share a very special chemistry, Edelman, did all that they ask of him and more. he looked very shifty and his yards per catch were actually higher than what Wes tends to get. it wasn't a huge drop off of skill here, imo.
PS, replying to...
and before we start going crazy:
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that Kansas running back Jake Sharp (undisclosed injury) will likely be a game-time decision against Southern Miss next week.
Coach Mangino is clearly worried about keeping his top tailback healthy for the marathon that is...
just read it as well! he's got good size for a safety, 6'1 and 212 lbs plus even scout.com has him as 4.4 guy. we might be looking at, heh, i was going to say Matt Giordano, but look where that would leave us. Eric Weddle then!
i am so pissed at McDaniels. and to top it all off, he let Buckhalter and Moreno get all the carries and they unfortunately got going... i mean they are bound to have a good game at some point, giving all the opportunities to succeed. just think about what havoc would Peyton wreak on Browns D...
i dunno about that. while i think Peyton could do the same, or better job, Moreno is playing very well now in the 4th quarter. he's 17-75 and 2 catches for 22 yards.
heh, i missed Hillis 2 yrd TD run, his only touch on the offense so far.
f**k, both Mono and Buckhalter showed up on this drive. Hillis needs to count on injuries to get a shot at RB... i guess that didn't actually change, since when they weren't playing well he wasn't exactly in McDouche's...
Sabby is trying to silence the critics: he just returned a fumble 72 yards setting up a short TD pass for Bucs. he's also leading Bucs in tackles with 5.
haha, i sympathise here Col. even JaMarcus gets the ball to Miller, since he's his best receiver by far. today just wasn't one of these days for poor ol' JaMarcus
let's hope Cutler finds Greg more than last week! oops, Olsen looks shaken up on a play
ST tackles are not included, unless stated otherwise.
you are more than welcome to post your own stats. oh, and Farwell has been their ST stand out for several seasons, it's surprising whn he ISN'T their white demon ST MVP.
back to football:
good to see McDaniels made some adjustements...
that's from rotoworld:
JaMarcus Russell completed just 7-of-24 passes for 109 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions in Sunday's Week 2 win over Kansas City.
Luckily for the Raiders, they were playing the Chiefs. Because their quarterback is quite possibly the worst in the league. He's...
i don't think he's done for the season, no. he's been dealing with knee problems through out preseason, played last week and must have suffered a set back. he did practice did week, although he was reported as limited. Edelman is filling in well for him.
wow, did you see heath Evans great sideline catch for a TD!!! talk about nimble feet for a big guy! it's a must see!
EDIT: oops, Scott Shanle grabs his second interception of the year, picked Kolb off. and yet Saints fans alwayswant to replace him...Edited by: backrow
JaMarcus watch: 3 out of 12, 42 yards and most of it came on a dump off to a RB who did all the work.
Cooley is playing well, again leading Skins in receiving. Reed Doughty came on the field as well, has 2 tackles so far.
Edelman sure as hell stepped up for Pats! they didn't miss a beat so far with him in! he looks exactly like Wes, maybe slightly bigger version of him. so far 3-41, but had another 10 yarder called back on a penalty.
Offense
RUNNINGBACKS:
Brian Leonard, RB Bengals: NO CARRIES... 2 catches for 17 yards on 3rd downs
Peyton Hillis, FB Broncos: his only carry came on a 2 yard TD, also had one kik return for 24 yards
Byron Storer, FB Bucs: IR
Dan Kreider, FB Cardinals: NSA
Jacob Hester, RB...
while he didnt actually have a 63 yard he does have 93 yards on 16 carries and two scores to his name already in the first half! Luck also threw an interception in the red zone, else Toby might have gotten a hat trick already! Owen Maracic and Whalen have two catches a piece btw.
i just came home, and from reading this thread only it was pretty obvious to me. and yeah, for the most part i'd agree with you, but the coaches tend to need some reason/excuse or a black fall back plan to execute such a coupe.
GUYS! i am sorry to say that but sometimes y'all behave like a bunch of f**kin women. harsh? maybe, but damn...
c'mon, even with caste system and all, there are some universal truths out there and they would never bench Sharp after what he did this season (and last)for no reason, even before...
