There are some teams that should be looking for young quarterbacks. Tennessee and St Louis for example. Savage, Mettenberger, McCarron, Murray and Fales are still available. Two or three of them should be drafted this round.

Texans take TE Fiedorowicz at the top of round 3. Fiedorowicz is a good player but they should have taken a QB. Savage, Mettenberger and McCarron were all available. Perhaps they're going to trade for Mallet. Incidentally, there's a top American chess player named Fiedorowicz.

I like how they say he's a work in progress in the passing game rather than saying he's not a good receiver. A white player running a 4.66 wouldn't be drafted.

Patriots take quarterback Garoppolo. Smart move, getting a quality backup and a potential future starter for when Brady finally retires. Garoppolo went much lower than he should have. I thought they might take Tom Savage, a player I like. They might have if Garoppolo hadn't fallen to them.

Joel Bitonio is a left tackle who tests out very well athletically. Teams needing a tackle should target him in the second round. It will be interesting to see if inferior black tackle prospects such as Kouandijo and Morgan are taken ahead of him.

Cleveland made an excellent choice with Manziel. He'll energize the fan base as well as turn the team around on the field. Manziel has all the makings of an NFL superstar.

I had expected both Derek Carr and Joel Bitonio to be drafted in the first round. I, personally, like QB Tom Savage quite a bit. I thought he might have been drafted in round 1 too. With so many teams having needs at QB and offensive line these players should have been drafted in round 1.

The Texans need a quarterback. They should take one with the first pick of the second round. Tom Savage would be a good choice. He has great upside. The Texans could consider Carr too.
