I always had a problem with the term "reverse discrimination". Discrimination is the same, regardless of the races involved on either side. Plus, wouldn't reverse discrimination just be...not discriminating?

    Tony Scheffler

Unless one counts the few carries given to one of the forgotten greats of the college game, R.J. Bowers. R.J. was at one point the all-time leading rusher in the history of college football. But we all know what that gets you when you're white.

    2010 MLB Regular Season

Dunn's been a model of consistency his whole career. While it's unlikely he'll suddenly jump to 50, one has to be amazed at his continuous production. Dunn hit more than 40 home runs every year from 2004-2008. His career high was 46, way back in his age-24 season. Not to mention that he's been...

    2010 MLB Regular Season

He might have a fair shot. He's been in the league for nine years, and could probably hit home runs prolifically for nine more, not unlike the great Jim Thome. He averages 39 home runs per season, so it would only take a little more than seven seasons (about 7.3) of 39 homer production to...

    Free Agent Racism?

Minnesota Twins second baseman Orlando Hudson believes that "racism" is the reason that free agent outfielder Jermaine Dye is out of a job. This comment comes only a few days after Dye turned down an offer from the Washington Nationals. Link to the place where I found it, but there's also a link...

    Jim Thome

I was really hoping that Thome re-signed with the White Sox in the offseason. He would have been their every day designated hitter, instead of a bench/part-time guy. He's sitting at 565 now, and would have 600 in two years, probably even one if he was hitting every day. As it stands now, he may...

"The Perfect Game"...Here We Go (Once) Again!

Man, it never stops, does it? Nothing says Academy Award like a theater full of moviegoers cheering for the "good guys" to beat those evil, racist white supremacist little leaguers.

Israel did 9/11, ALL THE PROOF IN THE WORLD!!

While I usually keep my nose out of business like this, I'm inclined to agree here. These types of topics are probably better suited to the ANU board, or elsewhere. When we speak of "converting" people, we have to cater to them to a certain degree. Inflammatory subjects such as this don't...

    2010 MLB Regular Season

The immortal Trevor Hoffman picks up his second save in as many games, numbers 592 and 593 for his career. He's number one all-time, and will be the first ever to 600.

    2010 NCAA Tournament

The night of the game, I was watching the national baseball game and "The Lead" scrolled across the bottom, showing top stories. The first five stories were about Tiger Woods, while the fifth was the time of the championship game. Despite the forced apathy of ESPN, the game drew great ratings...

    Caste Football is on Facebook!

Added as well, a while ago. Groups can get popular on Facebook in a hurry, so the more the merrier.

    2010 MLB Regular Season

In my opinion, it depends on the sport. I wouldn't consider a full Asian person to be a Caste-buster in baseball, as the Japanese have their own, very competitive league. Asian people in football and basketball are few and far between, and often have to battle the same "lacking athleticism"...

    2010 MLB Regular Season

For argument's sake, I included Andre Ethier as a white starter in the team-by-team rundown, but not Russell Martin. I figured that if we count Johnny Damon (who is half-Thai) as a Caste-buster, we could count Ethier, who is French and Mexican, as mentioned above.

Been real busy lately, but I'll have the MLB team-by-team rundowns up in the next day or so. Good analysis by the guys in already. Rasmus is a stud. A former top prospect, he's got all five tools.

No way! Gocong's a good pickup. Athletic guy that can play DE as well as LB. He actually led the NCAA in sacks one year at Cal-Poly, as a defensive end.

    Flashing

And still, this keeps happening. The last flash mob incident, a shopkeeper downtown had the sense to call the police before the mob escalated. The police showed up, the crowd dispersed, and a handful of arrests were made. The end result of this? So far we have one conviction, and a "youth"...

    Ahmadinejad Calls 9/11 "Fabricated"

Dixie, while Loose Change is indeed a startling and influential film, it seems to be more flash than actual substance. While searching for more info on the documentary, I found this thouroughly researched guide to the film pointing out, as the author states: It is very lengthy, but draws...

    Peyton Hillis

Perusing some Browns boards, I see that Cleveland fans don't share the view of some Denver fans that Peyton is an acceptable starting running back in the league. Tommy Vardell and Toby Gerhart comparisons run rampant, as everyone on these blogs see him as a fullback/H-back. In terms of fan...

    2009 Denver Broncos

I'd say "member of a heavy rotation" sums up what he'll be doing in Denver. A whole lot of riding the bench, watching an endless parade of talentless sumos wheeze their way through three downs while he blocks on kickoff return.
