    Sasha Vezenkov

there was a post a while back from grandmaster (where has he been?!) illustrating that the NBA hasn’t been fond of giving opportunities to Euroleague MVPs in the past ... so, will Vezenkov break the trend? only time will tell.

    Sasha Vezenkov

and here are highlights from his team’s Euroleague semifinal (final four) game: they eventually dropped the championship game, but he had quite a season.

    Sasha Vezenkov

there’s a perennial question in professional basketball: who is the best player in the world not in the NBA? Sasha Vezenkov is a legitimate candidate for the title. the 6-foot-9, sweet shooting stretch 4 is a highly efficient scoring machine and the reigning Euroleague (and Greek league) MVP...

    Dumb question

not dumb questions at all. 1) it’s not mandatory to use starting blocks. 2) there is a HUGE advantage, and the advantage increases more the shorter the sprint distance, which is why you don’t see many runners use them for anything past 400m.

an American in Aussie Rules Football

here’s a very complimentary profile on an athlete and a sport i knew nothing about before watching. both proved very interesting.

    2023 NBA Combine

I’ve written (briefly) about him before, as he’s a phenomenal talent. unfortunately for American fans (and perhaps around the world?), virtually no one will get to see him play until/unless he makes it to the NBA, as he has decided to go to the G League instead of playing in university or...

    College Hoops News; Transfers

reports are that Grant Nelson will be pulling out of the draft and focusing on selecting a new school through the portal, as i anticipated. Chitwood University is killing it. Nelson, and his impressive combination of size, skill, and athleticism is now the top available player in the portal...

    2023 NBA Playoffs

for what it’s worth, their was a poll put out by the NBA YouTube channel yesterday for who would win a two-v-two competition. the only two White athletes in the poll’s tournament were Jokic and Doncic, who were on the same team. the voters chose the Jokic-Doncic duo to win by a large margin...

thank you. it looks like you were posting while i was working on my post. well done, sir. here is another video with commentary:

    2023 World Outdoor Season

the link below has the relay at about the 3:00 mark, and Blaskowski’s new D3 record in the 100m at about the 5:00 mark. enjoy (at least until better video is found). https://www.ncaa.com/video/trackfield-outdoor-men/2023-05-27/diii-outdoor-track-field-2023-day-three-mens-recap

    NFL News, Rumors and Musings

Not EVERY great White running back ... there have been several that weren’t even drafted at all, including most recently the nation’s leading rusher: Brad Roberts.

    Forgotten White Athletes?

Danny Farmer’s story is an excellent example of the Caste System. his perseverance then emergence at UCLA should be the stuff of legend, and then what happened to him with the Pittsburgh Steelers was a travesty that should be talked about by any fan of the game. instead, this outstanding athlete...

    2023 NBA Combine

this cat plays for Chitwood University! somebody in the Association should hire me, as it’s obvious that my ability to find talent is superior to the folks who do it for a living. and i do it part time on my cell phone.

    2023 NBA Combine

Grant Nelson, of NDSU (and Chitwood University) fame, measured in officially at 6-feet-10 without shoes ... and ran the fastest pro lane drill of all participants AND the third-fastest time in NBA combine history. dude can move. on the other hand, he shot very poorly. selfishly, i want him to...

    High Schoolers

this year, there were no eye popping times in Arkansas high school track, but there were plenty of White champions in the sprints and jumps. i’ll only mention a few ... perhaps the most interesting prospect is freshman girl, Skylar Sterritt. she won both the 100m and 200m at the 5A (the second...

The Flat Circular Disc Non Rotating Earth

i’ve never given any credence to the flat earth notion, but i also have zero trust in the government. i put no lie beyond the realm of possibilities if/when it portrays them as the good guys. as such, here is a video i found very convincing. make of it what you will.

    2023 UDFA Signings

i recall another small school player with eye popping speed and leaping ability from a few years ago that had a very similar story ... i’m unsure of his name but Cody Pearce maybe? at any rate, these tremendously fast, agile, and high jumping “overachievers” are certainly very common considering...

    College Hoops News; Transfers

reports say Hunter Dickinson is transferring to Kansas. Grant Nelson, the poor man’s version of Chet Holmgren (and Chitwood University fame), has entered the portal. he’s being offered by virtually everyone.

    College Hoops News; Transfers

Taran Armstrong, possibly the best young point guard in the game at 6-foot-5 or thereabouts, has apparently opted to return to his native Australia to play pro ball ... rumor has it that it had something to do with how the NIL rules apply to foreign born collegians, though i’ve no idea of the...

    High Schoolers

the second race of the video below has Mia Brahe-Pedersen’s meet record from the Arcadia Invitational a couple weeks ago. as of no, if i’m not mistaken, her wind-legal time of 11.17 is still the fastest 100m in the country this year, and she’s just a junior. race 3 has a name i was unfamiliar...

    College Hoops News; Transfers

my hopes for a VERY White lineup for Gonzaga have darkened with the commitments yesterday of two “real” affletes. Nembhard, the younger and lighter skinned brother of a former Gonzaga guard of the same name, apparently has just enough melanin to be dynamic. Ike is black as an ace of spades...

    College Hoops News; Transfers

Virginia just landed a very interesting talent, although it might not be the best fit ... St. Thomas freshman guard Andrew Rohde, who led his team in scoring and assists this season, is an uptempo playmaker who thrives in the open court but isn’t (yet, at least) someone who digs in on defense...

    Pick your team ...

updates anyone? @Phall ? @TwentyTwo ? additionally, i think it’ll be interesting to revisit this thread at the beginning of the 2024-25 season instead of waiting until the end of the season, because we could then evaluate how “our” teams and players perform throughout the year. create a little...
