Texas A&M finished the season with an 8-4 record, which was good for 4th place (out of 7) in the SEC West division. They still secured the #1 recruiting class by composite ranking (two white tight ends, one tackle, one kicker, and a transfer QB out of 28). An Oklahoma "program insider" posted this tidbit on a recruiting forum:

That's pretty clear. Texas A&M donors have set up a series of shell companies (LLC's) to sponsor players through the NIL arrangement, which is a very smooth equivalent to a salary. The recruits sign NIL deals upon committing to "endorse" fake companies and receive a down payment plus a schedule for successive years based on their enrollment. If performance incentives aren't spelled out, they soon will be. The source estimates the budget at about $1 million per recruit, although this may skew toward the top. Assuming this is accurate, an incoming Aggie freshman in 2022 probably has about $250k in pocket just for showing up to fall camp.

If they are paying taxes I couldn't give a crap this has been going on for decades it just was a duffel bag full of cash in the past or a summer no show job or bribing with prostitutes or loans to family members or mix of all of them. At least now it's above board for the most part.

Lol I foresee a **** ton more of disciplinary issues with each afflete now running around with the equivalent of rapper/drug dealer money. 250k is a player is crazy.

Best case scenario is for teams like A&M to finish 8-4 again. See how long donors will tolerate paying.

It happened with Miami back 20ish years ago and brought down the program. I suspect x amount players will go insane and do that but level headed guys could have a nice nest egg.

What's the saying you can lead a mule to water but if doesn't want to drink there is nothing you can do...

Can you guys imagine being a college athlete and having that type of money? The girls wanted them before. Now they will have their own harems. Yeah this
is a train wreck in the future. These guys are not ready for that type of responsibility. This is gonna be crazy but no going back now I guess.

Yeah it's insane. I could use 250k right now and would do my best to make that stretch as far as possible! lol

I remember seeing doc on a Native American tribe where any band member who turned 18 got their revenue share of either an oil patch or casino and the one time payment was 250k less taxes most lost the money to fast living by buying the usual trappings and having dodgy friends. I would expect the same among football players getting similar money, many of these band members died from excess too or suicide because of the squandering of money.

A disaster in the making...

look how many NFL players self-destruct when they get paid... now imagine some college students with that kind of cash... look forward to a LOT more arrests for beating women as the Whores will be lined up out the door to get a piece of the pie...

I hope the schools go bankrupt.

It would be great to have two leagues: one that is dysfunctional mess but has “wiggle” in the hips and one that features mature and responsible (and better players) a the lunch-pail types.

Then, just as when high school teams meat, people will find out who is actually the better football product.

Clown world:

Nebraska will alter the mascot amid controversy.
Nebraska’s mascot known as “Herbie Husker” will be getting an upcoming change. The cartoon depiction of the Herbie features him giving the “ok signal” which is when the tips of the index and middle finger to make a circle. In recent years, that symbol has been used by hate group as a gesture of white supremacy. Herbie’s hand will now hold the “we’re number one” signal

Oregon TE Spencer Webb died yesterday. He was a projected starter for this year, he’s a guy I thought had NFL potential since 2019. Unfortunate situation.

Gentlemen. I said I would try and do a few write ups including Clemson/ACC schools, but I'm having trouble staying logged in and posting. I'll do the best I can. If I don't get to it, I apologize. Thanks for your understanding.

Oklahoma wide receivers coach Cale Gundy resigned on Sunday after it was revealed that he used inappropriate language in a film study with several Sooners players. Gundy addressed the specifics of the matter in a lengthy statement posted to his Twitter account.

"Today, with great anguish, I announce my resignation. I apologize to those who are disappointed by this news," he wrote. "I owe it to Sooner Nation to be transparent about what led to this decision: Last week, during a film session, I instructed my players to take notes. I noticed a player was distracted and picked up his iPad and read aloud the words that were written on his screen. The words displayed had nothing to do with football. On particular word that I should never—under any circumstance—have uttered was displayed on that screen. In the moment, I did not even realize what I was reading and, as soon as I did, I was horrified."

"I want to be very clear: the words I read aloud from that screen were not my words," he wrote. "What I said was not malicious; it wasn't even intentional. Still, I am mature enough to know that the word I said was shameful and hurtful, no matter my intentions. The unfortunate reality is that someone in my position can cause harm without ever meaning to do so. In that circumstance, a man of character accepts accountability. I take responsibility for my mistake. I apologize."

What a brainwashed buffoon! Let's all take a moment to laugh at this stupid cuck. He carved out a lucrative career out of venerating negro beasts of burden, and he internalized a weird religion where he cannot utter the same language they use casually every day, because they are gods to him and he is a lowly servant. Such a perverse dynamic, and unfortunately all too commonplace. I wonder how many of college football's white "good old boys" share this same religious belief - probably most.

It's exceptional/weird that this guy's tenure survived a few coaching staffs. After all that, he does himself in with the schoolmarm tactic of reading a passed note aloud in class.

Gundy played quarterback at Oklahoma from 1990-93, where he threw for 6,142 yards, 35 touchdowns and 31 interceptions. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Oklahoma in 1994. He spent four years at UAB from 1995-98 before joining Stoops in Oklahoma.

Offensive analyst L'Damian Washington will take over Gundy's on-field responsibilities on an interim basis.

I’m sorry. Why is there one word (combination of syllables) that can never be uttered by Whitey in any context? It’s beyond nonsensical. If the wrong sound comes out of your mouth, your life will be ruined. They’ve tried to elevate f a g g o t and r e t a r d to the same sacred level, to no avail. There is only one holy of holies.

These morons put the dumb word in so many rap “songs” but don’t want a significant part of their audience to repeat their own lyric......Idiotic, smug and pompous....

Pretty laughable. I’ve thought the “n” word conundrum in our society was a joke since I was a kid in the mid to late 90s. Glad to see the sheer idiocy of the word and the “logic” of who gets to say it is still as twisted as ever. Rather than confront the insanity of it and having an honest
conversation about the word and race in general another white cuck just capitulates.

This was an interesting breakdown of the massive volume of current FBS quarterbacks who transferred away from their original school of commitment. This isn't just common - it's the vast majority.

Get In or Get Out: A survey of 131 FBS starting quarterbacks

Quarterbacks who wait 2+ years to play for the school they signed with out of high school are a vanishing breed in major college football.

FBS QB1s who saw significant action within two years of signing or transferred in
American: 10 of 11
ACC: 12 of 14
Big Ten: 8 of 14
Big 12: 8 of 10
Conference USA: 8 of 11
Independents: 5 of 7
MAC: 10 of 12
Mountain West: 11 of 12
Pac-12: 12 of 12
SEC: 11 of 14
Sun Belt: 12 of 14

Out of 131 schools, that leaves a select 23 QB1s (17.6 percent) who waited more than two years to start for the school they signed with out of high school.

The Big Ten leads the FBS far and away with 6/14 (43%) of its starting quarterbacks having waited 2 or more years for a chance to start. The Pac 12 doesn't start any one such QB. A full name breakdown is at the link.

It would be interesting to see the percentage of quarterbacks who transfer but still do not end up starting/playing.

here’s a good example of how the media “reports” in a way that moves their agenda forward:

in the Missouri-Louisiana Tech game, 5 players from Missouri scored rushing touchdowns. below i’ve listed their total stats from the game:
can you determine which player deserves the hype before scrolling down?

N. Peat - 8 carries for 72 yards and 1 td, 2 catches for 18 yards
C. Schrader - 17 carries for 70 yards and 1 td, 1 catch for -8 yards
B. Cook- 7 carries for 61 yards and 1 td, 18/27 passing for 201 yards with 1 td and 1 int
L. Burden III - 3 carries for 26 yards and 1 td, 3 catches for 17 yards and 1 td
B. Harris - 4 carries for 18 yards and 1 td

i’ll quote the espn lead story and headline from the game. have you picked the “electric” performance yet?

ready?

the espn headline:

Burden shines as Mizzou rolls past Louisiana Tech, 52-24

the relevant narrative spinning:

And that was all the spark needed for the Missouri offense, who got on a roll behind heralded recruit Luther Burden III in a 52-24 victory over the Bulldogs ...

Yet it was Burden, the five-star prospect from St. Louis, who delivered on the hype. He caught a swing pass from Cook before making one defender miss and splitting two more for his first score, then he took a direct snap and ran for another.

Burden's only real gaffe came on a sharp throw that bounced off his hands for an interception.

so a guy who totaled a mere 43 yards, whose longest play was 17 yards, and was directly responsible for one of the team’s two turnovers was the “star” of the game. can you guess what this player looks like?
