Mark Ellis- Ellis is a senior at Missouri. He won the national championship last year as a Junior, and is the favorite to win it again this year. Ellis trains in the offseason with Ben Askren. Askren is a former a for national champion and is 3-0 in mma while training at American Top Team.
Jared Rosholt- Rosholt is a senior at Oklahoma state. Brother Jake is already in the UFC and is doing pretty well training with team Quest. Jake also wrestler for Oklahoma state and was a two time national champion. Jared is bigger then his brother 6-3 240, however he finishedthird after a long run ranked number one. Jared has expressed interest in trying mma but didn't confirm anything yet.
David Zabriskie- Zabriskie is a senior at Iowa State. Zabriskie finished fifth last year after being number one going into the national championships. He has trained in BJJ with black belt and teammate Ricky Lundell.

197
Jake Varner- Senior at Iowa State- Dominated his division and finished number one and is expected to do it again this year. Phil Davis was the previous guy to win 197 and now Davis is 5-0 in mma. Varner is way better then Davis was at 197 and I think Varner could defeat Davis easily.
184-
Max Askren- Senior at Missouri and finished 6 in the nationals- older brother Ben is his coach and if Ben continues to do well I think Max will try his luck. While he isn't as quick as his brother, he does have more size 5-10 180 and he has more time to develope.
155-
Cyler Sanderson- Iowa State wrestler finished in the top ten last year but still earned all-american honors. He was as good as his brother, but he trains BJJ with his close friend and teammate Ricky Lundell.
Ricky Lundell- He never got to wrestle at Iowa State however is a very skilled grapeler. Lundell has wonseveral grapelling. Lundell at 23 has the honor of being the youngest Gracie Jui-jitsu Black belt every. He is also the only one on this list that I can asure you will try mma.

Awesome...thanks Hawkeye! I always thought Cael Sanderson could have dominated in MMA, but he chose coaching instead. I'd like to see Cyler bring his talent to MMA. Let's hope a few of these wrestling studs join the MMA ranks! Wrestlers are some of the best athletes around, and have the best transition into MMA.
