Mike Who</span>? I've never
heard of this guy! You guys must be mistaken, 'cause I watched 17
hours of ESPN coverage this weekend and I didn't hear anyone mention
his name.

Seriously though, I hope that folks coast-to-coast tuned in to the TBS
broadcast -- he is phenomenal. The problem -- AS ALWAYS -- is
media control and, more precisely, WHO controls the media. The
silence surrounding Haas is deafening, and it is deliberate.

Ditto to what Southern Knight said. They don't want people to know how good he is.They also would prefer that he doesn't get drafted or goes in the late rounds. It's disgusting. He is frickin leading the nation despite double and triple coverage. What a stud!!

Mike Haas ended the day with 11 receptions for 190 yards in a close loss to Arizona. He now has 1237 yards on the season!

This guy just continues to up amazing numbers. It's a shame he's not a a great team like Samardijza so he could get more publicity.

Mike had 10 catches for 105 yards in a loss to Oregon tonight. Looks like he'll finish miles ahead of the second place receiver in the country! Congratulations!

Well I really hope Mike gets out there and once again proves everybody out. I believe he'll put on quite a show going against the lesser CBs of the East-West Game.

The amount of discrimination and b.s. white football players have to put up with is unbelievable. And almost all of it comes from other whites. Given the anti-white attitudes of so many whites it's hardly a surprise that the U.S. is becoming anon-white country at lightning speed.

From draftdaddy.com:

One day after arriving in Mobile, we have already seen what we expected from the wide receivers, which isn't a lot. After watching recent Biletnikoff Award winner Mike Hass (90 rec, 1,532 yards and 6 TD's) from Oregon State light up defensive backs at the East-West Game Saturday (4 receptions, 107 yards and the game winning TD), we are left to wonder why the organizers of the Senior Bowl are so insistent on keeping him out the game, despite repeated pleas to add him to the roster?

Rumor is the Senior Bowl is unimpressed with Hass' estimated speed. This has prompted Senior Bowl spokesman Vic Knight to constantly claim "Awards are not a basis for our invitations." However, the Senior Bowl recently added Oregon wide receiver Demetrius Williams, who is just about the same size as Hass and has consistently clocked in the mid 4.6's in college. That's not to say Williams isn't a worthy player, because he is. Nonetheless, if size and speed isn't a huge factor for Williams, why is it a factor for the more productive Hass?

Gee let me think about this one. Maybe because he's a white WR and you have to run a 4.1 to get any respect.

It would have to be like Forrest Gump running the ball down after it had been thrown. Well, maybe not quite that bad, but close. Hass should be showcased as much as possible. Whatever team gets him will be lucky.

and even then it is rare.. whites only get on the field when the entire depth chart of blacks gets hurt...

Rumor is the Senior Bowl is unimpressed with Hass' estimated speed.

Mel Kiper writes on ESPN Insider that "the wide receiver corps at the Senior Bowl is disappointing."

He writes this about Jason Avant: "Michigan WR Jason Avant did not show speed, separation or great hands. If a WR is not fast, he needs to have great hands."

But Avant gets invited while Belitnikoff Award winner Mike Hass doesn't.

I was watching the game this afternoon and there is a receiver from the Sundevils playing for the North who keeps dropping passes, I think his name is Hagan. The announcer said "when you dont have good speed and you are basically a possession receiver you have to make those catches." I thoughthow did this guy make thesenior bowl roster as a receiver? I thought speed was the criteria. Isnt that thereason Hass was not allowed to play.

Well this weekend is what it all comes down to for Hass. He either runs a great 40 which would be under 4.55 or runs above a 4.6 and absolutly kills his draft stock. I know where you should be drafted should depend on your stats and game film but scouts these days just put too much emphasis on 40 times. Mike could also help himself out greatly if he does well in the vertical leap and shuttle drill. Good luck Mike and run your ass off!

I just found out that Hass was the only college player ever to have a rap song about him according the wikipedia.

That has to be annoying.
