I don't think Fed has lost anything either, more like Rafa has elevated his game.

Ditto. Maybe the most entertaining match I have ever watched. It was certainly the most skilled with both players at or near the top of their game. Nadal has clearly elevated his game and Federer is still 26, plenty of time to take 4 or 5 more majors. He's still the best ever with all due respect to Sampras.

Amren recently had an entry about the latin americans in the US claiming "hispanics founded florida" because European spanish were the first explorers.

When its convenient for them, the latinos will associate themselves with Spain. Never mind the fact that since they broke with their European rulers, they've been pretty much going down the tubes.

The honorable exceptions to latino failure have been the white countries: argentina, uruguay, and chile.

We should not allow the more "mestizo" latinos to identify themselves with a great country like Spain.

And we should treat real Spanish people as fellow white Europeans who have little in common with the average "latino."

Congratulations to both Roger and Rafael on a great match! An incredible display of white excellence! Honor to the Spaniard and to the great white country of Spain.
