A rare sporting event, one that is set up along mostly racial lines is currently going on in Singapore. The inagural "Lexus Cup" pits a team of the best Asian women golfers against a team of "internationals" comprised basically of white women golfers. It's an intriguing match-up as the asian women have been playing so well on the woman's tour for quite a few years against some of the more well known Euro-American golfers.

Annika Sorenstam and Paula Creamer, the top two players in the world this year, gave the International Team a 4-2 lead over Asia after the opening foursomes.

Six fourballs on Saturday are followed by 12 singles on Sunday.
