Hypothetically speaking, what team would you rather root for in a weekly NFL matchup?

Team A

Head Coach - black

Starting Offense - black QB, white RB, white FB, white OLINE, white WRS, white TE

Starting 4-3 Defense - black MLB as the defensive team's captain calling all of the plays, 1 white strongside linebacker, 1 weakside linebacker, 2 white CBs, 2 white Safeties, 2 white DTs, and 2 white DEs.

vs

Team B

The New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, or the Houston Texans.

If I'm reading your description correctly, Team A has 20 White starters. Who wouldn't root for a team like that over any other just because the head coach and QB are black? It's a no brainer.

Ditto here...the # of White starters is the deciding factor.

I completely agree with you all.

It's mind-boggling, but I have found some posters here that will root for the other teams just because the "decision makers" are black.

Other than my home team, I'm cheering for the team with the most white guys.

The example given was a very extreme and unrealistic one. Usually what we get are maybe ten White starters, none at a caste position, versus a team that starts say seven Whites, but one or more plays a forbidden position. I'd be more likely to root for that hypothetical second team, especially if the first team had a negro coach or QB.

To take a real world example, last year's Wisconsin Badgers. A high number of White starters, mostly at caste appropriate positions, negro QB, HB, secondary. I rooted for them, but wasn't super enthusiastic.

It's not just numbers.
