Should be one of the best events for the WEC with two title matches. At 145lbs we will see 21-1 Urijah Faber vs Mike Brown 19-4. Two very good Wrestlers, this should be Fabers toughest fight. The other title fight is Paulo Filho 16-0 vs Chael Sonnen 22-9-1. The last fight Sonnen was dominating until Filho got him in the armbar. I expect Sonnen to win the rematch. However the fight I want to see involves two very good white prospects at 185. Jake Rosholt age 24 6'1 4-0 vs Nissen Osterneck 27 6'2 5-0. Rosholt is an all-amercian wrestler at Oklahoma State and is probably the next great MMA fighter. Osterneck from what I have heard from friends might be the greatest fighter no one has heard of.

fightcard
145
Urijah Faber 5'6 21-1 vs Mike Brown 5'6 19-4
185
Paulo Filho 5'10 16-0 vs Chael Sonnen 5'11 22-9-1
185
Jake Rosholt 6'1 4-0 vs Nissen Osterneck 6'2 5-0
155
Rob McCullough 5-7 16-4 vs Donald Cerrone 6'0 8-0
this could be the fight of the night. McCullough is the Champ, but Cerrone is taller and also a very good striker. Cerrone is only 22 so with a victory he would be thesecond youngest champ in WEC history.
185
David Avellan 5'9 2-0 vs Aaron Simpson 6'0 3-0
two good young prospects the WEC is tring to develope
205
Carmelo Marrero 6'0 205 9-1 vs Steve Steinbeiss 6'2
Marrero has been around the UFC. Steinbeiss didn't make it onto TUF 8, but from what I hear he and his brother both have a future in MMA.

At 185 Jake Rosholt won a second round tko but Nissen Osterneck looked impressive as a striker andeven onhis back. Both these guys impressed me.
Faber got KOed by Mike Brown. Fabers worste preformance But brown is naturally a 155er and sometimes goes as heavy as 170.
Another 155 bout Donald Cerrone pulled off an Upset of Rob McCullough.I was impressed with Cerrone's striking.
The Fight I was most happy about was Chael Sonnen completly dominating Paulo Filho. Chael just out wrestled Filho from the start of the match.
Aaron Simpson koed David Avellan in the first round. Simpson could have a future at 205 but it's hard to tell from that fight.

Brown looked so much stronger than Faber and that crazy spinning elbow Faber threw was his undoing. Probably only a matter of time though with the way the fight was going.
