This is big night for whites in MMA. Corrone could become the Lightweight champ over Ben Henderson and Faber could dethrone Aldo for the Featherweight belt.

To be honest, both fights could go either way...as both non-white titleholders are tough SOB's (especially Aldo). Aldo seems like a complete fighter, but at least Henderson has no KO power against Cerrone.

I could see the good guys coming out on top tonight.

Didn't Ben Henderson brutally KO Shane Roller?

With the way Ben Henderson wobbles around and has poor balance, I think he's on illicit drugs.

What channel are these fights on or are they PPV? I'm pulling for Faber even though most seem to give him no shot.

JReb1, this is WEC's first PPV (I believe), but there should be 2 prelim fights on Spike (more if 1 of them is real short)...

* Featherweight bout: Leonard Garcia vs. Chan Sung Jung
* Lightweight bout: Alex Karalexis vs. Anthony Pettis

I'll be meeting some buddies at a sports bar to check it out, as I missed UFC 112.

Holy crap. Sung Jung was robbed. He won every round on every account. Damage, "control," he pushed the pace, landed way more strikes, more takedowns, submission attempts, everything. You could not legitimately give Garcia a single round. The judges that render these obviously terrible decisions need to be banned. It's getting ridiculous.

Good results in caste matches so far with Mendes, Roller and Pickett tapping black hypes.

Wow - Mike Brown got KO'd by Manny Gamburyan (an Armenian). Big upset and Manny should get a shot at the winner of Aldo-Faber.

Oops - Pickett did not tap Johnson but dominated for 3 rounds. Roller and Mendez did tap their Afrolete opponents.

Mendes looks 100% white despite his last name. He looks like he could be the younger brother of Faber. Good caste win.

Cerrone-Henderson being introduced now. Go Cowboy! I thought he took the first one but got screwed on the cards.

Ugh ... an almost perfect night was spoiled. Cerrone tapped in the first via guillotine. Credit due as Henderson has improved. Hope one of our boys can get the title back though.

A white guy named Tyler Toner just KO'd an undefeated Hawaiian. Toner may be one to watch.

So, we lost the two big ones but won the prelim caste matches. Aldo and Henderson are very good but there will be some whites to challenge for their belts very soon.

***My half-cent worth....

I'll be meeting some buddies at a sports bar to check it out, as I missed UFC 112.

I DVR'd Spike hoping it would be on regular TV like every other Faber fight was and was mad when I only got a countdown to the fight. I would've watched a stream or went to a sports bar had I known earlier it was PPV. Since Faber got beat pretty bad from what I read I'm glad I didn't pay for it.
