Impressive debut for former LSU fullback Shawn Jordan. Jordan koed former British strongman Oli Thompson in the second round.

I like Andrew Craig, but he has a big task ahead of him against Kyle Noke.

Nick Penner's suppose to be very talented. He should have had a chance at the UFC years ago.

Ian Mcall got screwed, typical.

my score
round 1 McCall two takedowns
round 2 Johnson close fight
round 3 McCall dominated Johnson could have been a 10-8 round. I had it 10-9 McCall.
Evwen the crowd booed at that decision.

Kampmann by guillotine (from top) in the 3rd!

I hope Benavidez knocks Johnson into next week for the flyweight strap.

Apparently the Johnson/McCall fight was a majority draw now. A rematch will be coming soon. I expect McCall to win the Rematch.

Walderburger, Siler, Craig, and Kampman all had impressive victories. Waldburger is only 23 and nowhere near his peak, I expect big things from him in a few years.

Glad to see McCall get the rematch and a draw. However, if it had gone to a 4th round like the rules would have stated, McCall would likely have stopped a gassed Johnson.

Kampann is a tough guy to figure. He has a great ground game and standup. Yet he bangs with strikers (Daley, Alves) and grapples with groundfighters (Shields). He fights to his opponent's strengths every time I see him.

A reamtch with Jake Shields is in order (though their first fight was a snoozer IMO).

Personally, I am not a fan of the UFC adding 125 lbers. I expect it will be dominated by Mexicans and maybe a few Japanese. How many white men are that small?

But McCall is really good and I know he will beat black hope Johnson again. To be honest, I pick Benavides to win it all as the weight cut appeared to have no effect on him (unlike Johnson).

Yeah I'm not a fan of the 125lb weight class either. When I wrestled in college one of our team captain 125, and he was the biggest trash talker. the guy ended up being an NCAAII All-American yet everyone on the team used to throw him around during drills. It is a weight class designed for midgets and anorexics.
