Guess I'll be rooting for Melendez on this one. Absolutely can't stand Benson Henderson. I know he didn't really beat Frankie in the rematch but on paper he has two title defenses already.

I think Means deserves to win that fight but probably won't since he spent a lot of time getting laid on and pressed against the cage.

Also that was a sick flying knee by Yoel Romero.

How good did Dillashaw look in KOing Viara ...

Also,Matt Brown just goes 5-0 in his last 5 fights since almost being cut from the UFC!

How good are the Team Alpha Male fighters looking since Duane Ludwig became their striking coach!

Hoping Frank Mir can pull the upset but, sadly, I see Cormier lending him some generous G&P ...

No mention of the awesome stoppage for Thomson against Diaz? Diaz's corner threw in the towel.

I don't see Mir winning except by sub but he won't let him take him down. He came out with the same full of himself attitude as he did against Carwin.

Mir fought a stupid fight, kept clinching with an Olympic wrestler and tried to press him against the cage which Cormier reversed every time instantly. Even with less than 10 seconds in the fight he just tries to press him against the cage. You could tell just by the way he was carrying himself that he would fight stupidly and arrogantly.

I got the feeling looking into Mir's eyes, he half gave up in the middle of the fight, acknowleged a retirement and finished it out of pride. If he does fight now it will be due to financial pblems or needing to support his famly

Fox is going to keep him as a commentator. They actually get paid more than most of the fighters..

Too bad the judges gave Henderson another split decision, would have really rained on his parade for his stupid marriage proposal.

Great upset win by Thompson - he also beat Melendez last year but was screwed bad by the judges.

Dillahsaw a future champ at 135 for sure. Mendes and Frankie will fight it out for the belt at 145 at some point. Jury a future champ at 155.

Don't think Matt Brown will ever be champ but he is a hardcore fighter who represents our people very well.

Melendez got screwed like everybody does against the underwhelming Ben Henderson. The winner of Gray Maynard/T.J. Grant should right that ship and bring the belt back home where it belongs.

Cormier is good but will never be champ.

Mir should have a few fights left in him but will never challenge for a title again. The game has somehow passed him buy .. but that happens to everyone eventually.

Mir's on TRT the problem with him is his low fight IQ that's directly proportional to how high he is on his own ****.

Matt Hume should be given a lot of credit for turning fighters around. Both Matt Brown and Tim Boetch have turned there careers around after training with Hume. Personally I think he is a better fight strategist than Greg Jackson.

True. He's always came off as an arrogant d0uchebag. Outstanding BJJ and solid boxing, but subpar wrestling and inconsistent fight strategy.
