He is built more like Alexander Ustinov or Jameel McCline. Big all around but not as pronounced in his chest development. I still think he is too big too. If you look at the Klitschkos they are both fairly skinny for their frames.

I think we are being WAYYY too negative on both Brock and the future of whites in MMA. The sport is still white dominated and we came very close to having all white champions in the UFC just a few months ago. Two more minutes and Chael would have beaten Silva and joined Lesnar, Rua (white Brazilian), GSP and Frankie Edgar as champs.

Belts come and go, especially in MMA. But there are many top level whites in each division in the UFC. Brown Pride is solid on the ground and on his feet so is a formidable opponent. However, Brock could certainly have won this fight is he was able to hold Velasquez down.

Lesnar will likely get the belt back at some point and Carwin has a shot at a title as well. Dos Santos has a decent chance against Brown Pride in his next fight too.

So, one bad result on an otherwise good night for whites is not the end of the world though it always sucks to lose a belt in such a racially conscious fight.Edited by: Liverlips

Thanks for that dose of common sense and restoring a little perspective back to this thread. I think Dos Santos has a excellent shot of knocking out Cain "if" the fight doesn't go to the ground.

I'd give JDS the advantage in striking. I wish Carwin wasn't injured, I think he'd KO "Mud Pride". BTW, on the UFC behind the scenes show (build-up to fight), they showed/interviewed Mud's dad Efrain...who looked to have alotta European blood. I'd not consider Mud an amerindian as much as mestizo. In any event, I hope JDS drops him and takes the strap.
