Randy is almost 50 and doesn't have the best of chins so it's possible for Toney to land a 1 punch KO (especially with MMA's tiny gloves) before RC can take him down because Toney is an accurate puncher and you're always vulnerable to getting caught shooting a striker. I effing hate Toney and hope RC wins this farce!

It's a freak show/gimmick fight (only w/ "YOney" being in there). However, for those of you worried about Randy controlling a larger "YOney"...Randy took at 6'8, 265 lb Tim Sylvia down a few times (when Sylvia was still fairly close to his prime & is a much better all-around fighter than YOney). Randy also had a monsterous 6'3, 265-270+ lb Lesnar pinned against the cage for a while. "YOney" has a very slight chance of a lucky punch, but I'm 95%+ certain Randy WILL get the takedown & score the sub or TKO. There's a slight chance Randy will ride/control the afrolete for 3 rounds for a decision. "YOney" is smack talking to hype the fight...I think (down deep) he knows it's just about a payday...and his @$$ is grass!

A bunch of pro boxers are coming out and saying that James Toney is going to ruin the reputation of the sport of boxing. As if boxing had not ruined their rep already. Tje story is over at Yahoo's MMA blog. Boxers are just mad that they are not feared. The Gracie family challenged Joe Louis in his prime and Mike Tyson in his prime. Both declined. Boxing as a sport is a joke. I'm surprised when I see White men under 40 that following it.

Why is boxing a joke? There are tons of white champions at this time.

To WhiteAthelete: Boxing is a joke because they market themselves as these great warriors when they routinely turn down fights over money. Years ago Chuck Liddell was willing to fight negro fighter Vernon White for free just to shut his black butt up. Liddell won by KO. That's a warrior. With my limited jui-jitsu and decent wrestling I could take those ""champion" boxers.

That's not correct. There are many very good eastern European fighters who are terrific athletes that would do just as well in MMA. White fighters such as the Klitschko's do not behave like these negro thugs in boxing. Of course there is plenty of black trash in the sport such as James Toney and Floyd Mayweather. White fighters behave themselves with a lot more class.

Vitali KlitschkO was also a Champion kick boxer so if he wanted to learn BJJ and wrestling he could have dominated in MMA as could most elite boxers if they trained for several years in MMA. With a boxers stand up skills combined with a decent ground game he would be dominant. More times than not a pure boxers is going to get submitted against an MMA expert though. I like both sports.

I watch MMA on occasion but I watch every significant boxing fight which involves white fighters. On occasion I even watch fights between two black fighters when the outcome can affect one of our guys. A lot of these talented white boxers could dominate in MMA as well.

Toney just weighed in at a whooping 237 lbs!!!! What a pig. Just think this guy used to fight at 160 lbs as middleweight.

If Toney wins this fight then I have to say it was fixed and for these reasons.

1. Toney is extremely out of shape

2. Toney is going into another sport and has no experience in MMA

3. Couture is an MMA legend with tons of experience

The first minutes of the fight Randy will have to excise caution, give faints then take Toney down, have him submit, but before, smack the crap and racism out of him and make him say "your my daddy Randy, please stop". Then after the match be careful for a Toney sucker punch. This guy is a critean.

If Randy thinks he can slug with Toney that would be ill advised to say the least.

Ended up not betting on Toney but wish I would have bet Edgar.he was a 3 to 1 underdog. Congrats to Edgar. I hope he beats Gray Maynard.

***My 2 cents...
- Good night for White fighters (all & all).
- "Spooky" Joe Lauzon looked totally dominant against Mr.Enema.

- The Legendary "Natural" exposes the smack-talkin', King's English butchering "afrolete".
- Frankie steps ups his game to retain his strap.

One thing that hurt Toney was his boxers stance. Having your knee bent with that posture makes you susceptible for the single leg takedown. Apparently King Mo and Dean Lister didn't bother to tell Toney. I think Toney should have trained some place else like Xtreme Couture. All and all a greatmonth for Randy. First The Expendables is the number 1 movietwo weeks in a row and Now this.
