There is a unconfirmed report on Drudge that Meet the Press journalist Tim Russert had a heart attack and died this afternoon. Story is just beginning to break... Edited by: Don Wassall

Man, he was only 58. No one is guaranteed another day.

Not trying to be crass but I say he is replaced on MTP with a woman or a non-white.Edited by: Poacher

It's confirmed now. I always had a grudging respect for Russert because of his professionalism despite his liberal bias and the network he worked for. He certainly had alot more class than those clowns like Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann who he had to work with. He will be missed in the broadcasting community.

If you feel a tingle in your leg while hearing a speech by Barack Obama, this means that you have heart problems. Call your doctor immediately.

When I saw this story confirmed on the televitz yesterday afternoon, I felt nothing. This morning, I still feel nothing.

This is what I will say about him. He was a guy you might have "wanted" to like, but you couldn't get to that point (of like) because he pushed his share of emasculating PC bullcrap just like the rest.

He was getting paid big money by the power structure to do what he did, and I can't name ANYONE in the MSM that is truly "hard-hitting" and takes "hard stands" without hesitation and, of course, defend those very positions with intelligence and vigor. He wasn't that guy. There's how many questions he could have asked guests but he didn't. Just because he was "harder" than "Larry King" means squat to me.

What else would I expect from an MSM creation?! The next guy is going to "take his orders" as well. These last few sentences are a big part of why I feel nothing.

I agree with jaxvid and Deadlift. I thought I posted on this thread yesterday. My mind must be playing tricks on me.

We will have a very long weekend of Russert being eulogized. Olbermann was on last night talking about how fair Russert was to all sides. This coming from a guy who is by far the most hateful slanderous guy on TV and who clearly gets his talking points daily from Moveon.org and the Daily Kos. Russert was the best of that miserable bunch at NBC and MSNBC and that is not saying much.

Good observation. The anti-white press loves the guy...nuff said.Suppose he interviewed Don Wassal. What would that be like?He would have ripped Don, and this site to shreds.

I agree with Deadlift. Our entire society is emasculated, reflected in the rediculous PC environment. Tim Russert promotes that crap, so in my mind he is an enemy.

Tim Russert should have asked the real questions we want answered, like "why is the dollar worth almost nothing?" and "why is the president not in jail for lying the American people into war and bankruptcy?" oh and "Why is it when 80% of this country is against illegal immigration is it shoved down our throats time and again?"

Those would have been great questions im sure a lot of folks would like to have answered.

Infamous One. That last question you posed"why is it when 80% of this country is against illegal immigration is it shoved down our throats time and time again" is especially warranted. They are always referencing polls, then why don't they reference that one and enact policies accordingly.Edited by: guest301

He was not exactly professional and unbiased when he interviewed David Duke. Duke handed him his ars on the issues but the liberals and neocons applauded Russert for stumping Duke on a trivia question,"What are the three biggest employers in Lousiana?"

I bet Russert would not have known the three largest national employers let alone Louisiana's before his writers looked it up. No offense to the dead but that big potato head ate himself into an early grave. He was just a Zionist pawn albeit a fat loud pawn who looked like he was about to burst out of that tight blue suit.
