Man, I am like a kid in the candy store today. First the guy from Fox Sports Radio and now the South Park episode, the season premier. If you haven't seen it, you've got to. It's funny as hell and it's right on.

Basically, a guy is on Wheel of Fortune and the clue is "people who annoy you", the letters are N_GGERS and he says of course the N-bomb. When the answer was NAGGERS. THe whole show is about him then kissing ass to "prove" he is not a racist, in fact, he actually kisses Jesse Jackson's ass and Jackson then accepts his apology for dropping the Nbomb. It's a good show.

Times they are a changin'.

I have only watched a few episodes of the show, but in discussing it with some classmates last week, a new term was coined "Southpark Conservatives." I think it may actually have some merit, but that show is pretty far out sometimes.

I have grown very fond of "South Park," after my teenage son eventually persuaded me to watch it. While it still has way too many utterly disgusting scenes (blood, crap, a Jesus that borders of blasphemy, etc.), it really is the most politically incorrect show I've ever seen on television. Cartman is a star!

GREAT EPISODE.

It's on again tonight @ 10pm est. I loved when Cartman was trying to start a "race war" with Tokin and Stan. "Whites win! Whites win again." I freakin lost it. This is a must see for fans of CF. They have to of dropped the n bomb atleast 50 times.

My son taped this episode last night and we watched it already. Wow- that was the single most politically incorrect thing I've ever seen on television. How they got it past the censors is a real mystery. The best part of a great episode was when the gun-toting rednecks were chasing Stan's dad and when they cornered him, they lectured him at gunpoint about being fair to African-Americans, and how they didn't want "his kind" around their town! Just incredible, and very, very funny.

This show is hysterical. I've been a devoted fan of it since high school. In one episode, Eric Cartman dresses up for Halloween wearing a white sheet and a pointed hood. lol. He then proceeded to tell everyone that he was a ghost, but it was overwhelmingly obvious thats he looked like a klansmen. And the black guy, Chef, was like "Whoa whoa whoa, you can't go out like that."

Then, in another episode, Cartman dressed up as Hitler, and was trying to pull some wacky shenanigans. The show is quite politically incorrect, therefore, I support it.Edited by: Ground Fighter

I watched the 11th season premiere tonight and it was pretty good. It pointed out a lot of hypocrisy, which was nice to see. My favorite episode is the re-enactment of a War Between The States battle. The funny thing was, both armies were using Confederate flags!

Hey Bigunreal, I couldn't agree more in regards to the caricature of Jesus. I actually feel dirty watching that stuff and wish they wouldn't do that. This is why I stopped watching Simpsons and Family Guy. Soooo easy to bash Christians and make fun of Jesus and God, but those guys always stay 100% PC. What's so profound about that? Everyone does that!
But SouthPark actually takes on all comers and that's why I love it.

I think that was the first SP I ever saw and couldn't believe my eyes it was on TV. I've been hooked ever since.

There was a time when Simpson's was funny too and somewhat unPC. Don't know what happened there though. THose guys went off the deep left clift.

I mentioned this on another thread, but the "moral of the story" was actually quite moderate, even liberal: Randy learned how hurtful the word is, and Stan learned that he'll never know what it's like to be black. They have this knack of combining a politically correct message with politically incorrect humor. I have to believe this is their formula for staying on the air. If they delivered a truly far right wing message, they'd be done by now.

Having said that, South Park is funny as hell!

The difference:
Southpark will actually mock somebody BESIDES Conservative Christians, and call people (like former "Chef" Isaac Hayes) when they don't mind mocking Christians, but wuss out about mocking anybody else.

Besides, Jesus was pretty darn cool in the episode "Red Sleigh Down", the one where Santa gets shot down over Iraq and Jesus goes in to rescue him.

*various Iraqui Vermin pointing guns at Jesus*

"My children, theres something you should know:
I'm packing" *bang bang bang*

Now theres a savior I could get behind!

Just watched the Holloween episode from one of the early seasons. Cartman dresses up like Hitler, but people think it's not PC. So they dress him up in a white sheet as a "ghost" complete with pointy hood.

There was also a great episode about "the richers". A bunch of "richers"(blacks) move to the neighborhood and everyone gets PO'ed about them ruining the culture.

The Klan episode from season 1.The richers premiered more recently, sometime after Kobe raped that chick.
