Diego Sanchez is going to fight Nick Diaz. There has been an exchange of words between these two guys, but I'm not sure how much is showmanship to pump the fight or if Diaz really doesn't like Sanchez.

In a nutshell, Diaz says that Diego doesn't deserve to be where he is, that he is a "star" simply because he was on the TV show. Diaz wants to prove that he is the better fighter and that Diego is all about air time and isn't as good as his rep.

I think it will be an interesting fight. I've watched both these guys, and I think either could win. Your thoughts?

Shogun, I am leaning towards Diaz in this one. I believe he has the better standup game and is probably equal to Sanchez on the ground. Diaz seems to be very tough mentally and I have never seen him overwelmed by another fighter. He has also been up against some strong competition in Robby Lawler and Karo Parysian, the latter whom he lost a split decision to. Cesar Gracie is known to have a strong stable of fighters and Diaz is one of his star students. Should be a helluva fight though! Just my 2 cents worth.

This should be a good fight. Either could win, but I think Diego will do enough to earn a decision. I really hope I am wrong, because I would love to see Diego get KO'ed.

But I think Diego is just going to control him on the ground, push him around and do enough for a decision.

Panzer, what don't you like about Diego? Guy doesn't actually bother me too much. Edited by: White Shogun

I think he is pretty c0cky <--it "bleeps" it out with **** if I use an 'o'). I remeber him saying a while back that he is the "uncrowned welterweight champion of the UFC". He thinks he is better than he is, and I would like to see him lose his undefeated status. I don't hate the guy, just want to see him humbled a little.

Something funny I remeber, after one of his fights in the UFC, forgot which one, he thanked Jesus while thanking his sponsors. It went something like, "I'd like to thank my sponsors, Nissan, Jesus, Tapout" It was pretty funny.Edited by: panzer

I do agree he went over board a little with the champ comment. He isn't as bad as some we've listened to in the UFC, though.
