I read the comments of Charles Barkley, who basically said it is not whites' place to tell blacks what words they may use.

"(W)hat I do with my black friends is not up to White America, to dictate to me what is appropriate and inappropriate... What we say in the locker room, it should always stay in the locker room. The language we use, sometimes it’s homophobic, sometimes it’s sexist, a lot of times it’s racist. We do that when we’re joking with our teammates… White America [doesn't] get to dictate how me and Shaq talk to each other.”

http://nba.si.com/2013/11/14/charle...-fine-tnt-clippers-thunder/?section=si_latest

I agree with him on that point, and add that neither is it blacks' place to tell whites what language whites may use.

His further point, in essence that males who congregate in a place like a sports locker room use words and get into subjects that are considered at best impolite in open, mixed company, reminded me of Fred Reed column I also read today:

http://takimag.com/article/notes_on_the_pussification_of_america_fred_reed#axzz2kqZ092jG

The reaction to Paula Deen, Riley Cooper, Richie Incognito, and all the psychobabble that accompanies each story of a public figure whose language went rogue is symptomatic of this modern feminized pop-culture.

My gosh the propaganda is overwhelming these days. How can a person be expected to grow up in this backwards ass world normal? The Riley Cooper thing got the racial ball rolling this season, but now Incognito has given them a piece of material to push their propaganda to limits yet seen on this planet. I doubt there will be ANY normal people in 50 years.

Eventually, White guilt will become exhausted.

Richie Incognito didn't say anything that extreme. How many times, on NETWORK television do we hear somebody get called "White BOY"?

White people are held to a higher standard of behavior because often other races lack the mental maturity to not be whiny little *******.

"Oooh boo hoo he called me the N-word!"

Oh, he did? Then kick his ass! Be a man, and f*ck him up. Don't whine like a baby.

White people are being taught that it is simply not acceptable to stand up for themselves.

As in, some f*king mud can call you a White cracker b*tch, and if you give him an ass beating because of it, YOU'RE the bad guy, or you're a violent sociopath and need sensitivity training, or that you DESERVED to be called honkey or whatever because you come from a racist race and other races have a right to respond to your past racism with frustrated racism of their own.

But, if you even give off a WHIFF of something like, "You know, I think Blacks have a tendency to steal... And... yeah, without White intervention they'd be living in the Dark Ages struggling to master the art of not-getting-eaten-by-lions..."

—then you're f*cked.

Richie Incognito mocked ethnicity of Miami dolphins staffer

Suspended Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito and at least one other Dolphins player mocked the ethnic background of a team staff member and made crude jokes about the man's wife, according to a report in the National Football Post.

Sources tell ESPN that both the NFL and the Dolphins are aware of the allegations.

According to the report, Incognito would sometimes dress in garb from the staff member's culture and make profane jokes about that culture, making the staff member uncomfortable.

The Ted Wells report on the Icognito-Martin workplace harassment is online now.
I read thru it on Sporting News (NFL) page.. it's long, but it was a better read than the small morsels a lot of the media are selectively analyzing/presenting.

Imo, the report is worth reading to form a fair opinion.. It seemed like a perfect storm in Miami. A culture of hazing that landed on a guy who wasn't into it. I kinda feel for everybody involved.. Incognito, Pouncey, & John Jerry routinely bothered guys, but it doesn't strike me as anything beyond what a lot of young guys do at work. Martin is candid in the report about how he wasn't able to roll with it tho, bcuz of his own mental & self-image issues.. & in my opinion, at work he shouldn't have to accept it.

Something the report discredits, is the media narrative, where Incognito is the solo racist right out of Central Casting.. Jerry & Pouncey, both Black, seem equally culpable in Martin's harassment. Sporting News leads their article with "Incognito & two others"..
So the story will probably remain in the unfair paradigm where Incognito is the only target for public scrutiny. It was a sad situation, now fodder for DWFs & Rooney Rulers.

I disagree with the idea that at work Martin shouldn't have to put up with the comments of Incognito and others. It's the NFL. He has to put up with guys slamming his body into the ground and physically pounding him. That is not a "work place" in the typical sense. How can unpleasant comments be banned in that environment? It's unrealistic to expect that. And furthermore it gives too much power to the speech police to insinuate that football players have to treat each other like people in an office. Do you think the racial epithets that Peyton Hillis had to put up with will be policed in any way, while any hint of comment from a white player to a black one won't be?

This is more of the pussification of our culture. I guess it was only a matter of time before it got around to sports but that is no reason to enable it.

Police departments, fire departments and the armed forces were the last non sport work places where Icognito type attitudes were common. With lawsuits when minorities saw glass ceilings and heard the same disparaging jokes that White males had to endure forever those jobs now have pamphlets for diversity training. How long until the NFL has a handbooks where how to deal with your transgendered bull dyke teammate are distributed.......:scared:

He attacks Jonathan Martin on Twitter
He smashes his own car with a baseball bat

Incognito and/or his father may be vaguely aware of the Caste System, but they are no more useful to our cause than was Riley Cooper's drunken private conversation, other than to point out double standards in the way they were subsequently treated, racial double standards that exist by the zillions in every day life in the USSA. Richie seems to basically be an ogre, probably doesn't put up with any crap from blacks, but is an ogre nonetheless.

come on, nobody else has wanted to beat the crap out of their car? just not the financial means to do it? I guess reading the automotive thread many on here have had some reliable cars, I've had some crappy hand me down "gift" cars that were pieces of junk. I loved my Volvo though, but repairing it made me want to break something at times, just the way its set up, the parts you need, the tools you need etc.

the ridiculous thing about Incognito from his behavior, his style of play and his size (one of the few linemen we have that is in the 330 range) is playing on the OFFENSIVE line instead of the DEFENSIVE line, he would be a beast if you put him on the other side. Maybe he'd be less compelled to smash his car with a bat, because in the modern NFL its less physical run blocking and more finesse staying put and pass protecting which to me is boring.

Sometimes Incognito’s off-color comments, “offensive” jokes, pranks, fights during games, and general harassment of others are funny and endearing, but stuff like this makes me think he’s merely some irrational, violent, brainless sociopath. What kind of 30-year old white man (especially someone who is currently unemployed, like Incognito) intentionally destroys a car that costs more than a normal person’s house?

At least the dumbass didn’t smash the windows during his little tirade. I’ve had the displeasure of fixing smashed auto glass and it isn’t fun cleaning up tiny shards or replacing the glass, which never seems to fix correctly.

Here are some interesting and humorous quotes from the Wells Report relating to Incognito's behavior that I don't believe have been posted at CF...

The "you're my bitch" comments added to name-calling that had begun in 2012, Martin's rookie season, when Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey began regularly calling Martin a "cunt," a "bitch," a "pussy" and a "******." Martin was not surprised to hear these words used by football players, but believed they were frequently hurled at him with demeaning intent. The evidence shows that these words -- at least at times -- were spoken to Martin in a cutting tone or with the intent to humiliate him. According to Martin, these types of taunts were a routine part of his life with the Dolphins.

From Incognito's texts to Martin referring to his sister:

  • We are going to run train on your sister. She loves me. I'm going to **** her without a condom and cum in her cunt.
  • Hey, Jmart's sister is in town. Get the plastic sheets ready, she's a squirter.
  • I'm going to bang the **** out of her and spit on her and treat her like ****.
  • Hear your sister has a wolf-puss. A fat, hairy pussy.

Martin also recalled that the comments about his sister were sometimes accompanied by obscene physical gestures. For example, he claimed that on the practice field, Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey would call his sister a "squirter" and then squirt water onto the field from their water bottles, and that while engaged in certain warm-up stretching exercises, they would simulate having sex with his sister. Incognito confirmed these allegations.

The Assistant Trainer was born in Japan and attended university there through 2001, before emigrating to the United States. Martin said that Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey directed racial slurs at the Assistant Trainer, calling him a "Jap," a "Chinaman" and a "chink"; referred to him as a "dirty communist" or a "North Korean"; made demands such as "give me some water you ****ing chink"; spoke to him in a phony, mocking Asian accent, including asking for "rubby rubby sucky sucky"; and called his mother a "rub and tug masseuse." Martin also informed us that Incognito and Jerry taunted the Assistant Trainer by saying that they had had sex with his girlfriend.

Martin said that on one occasion, Pouncey physically restrained Player A and, in full view of other players, jokingly told Jerry to "come get some pussy," and that Jerry responded by touching Player A's buttocks in a way that simulated anal penetration. Pouncey and Jerry both denied this allegation. Given the seriousness of this allegation and the conflicting recollections, we decline to make any findings about this particular alleged incident.

During the 2012 Christmas season, Coach Turner gave all of the offensive linemen gift bags that included a variety of stocking stuffers. In each gift bag except for Player A's, Turner included a female "blow-up" doll; Player A's bag included a male doll. Martin and another player were surprised that Turner did this; Martin further said that he was offended that Turner had endorsed the humiliating treatment of Player A by participating in it. Incognito and others agreed that this incident with Coach Turner occurred. When interviewed, Turner was asked if he gave Player A a male blow-up doll. He replied, "I can't remember." We do not believe that Turner forgot this incident, which many others recalled.

Player B: Especially if u plan living in Arizona in the future, that's exactly what you want
Incognito: Yea. For picking off zombies 32
Player B: Lol isn't that why we own any weapons!?
Incognito: That and black people
Player B: Mmm def all black ppl

Four days later, Incognito and Player B discussed rifle scopes in text messages.
Player B: Yes. That's a solid optic made specifically for a .308
battle rifle
Incognito: Perfect for shooting black people
Player B: Lol exactly
Player B: Or Jeff Ireland

Incognito: **** Jmart That ****** is never [allowed] back
Pouncey: Bro I said the same thing I can't even look at him the same he's a pussy
Incognito: My agent just asked if we held mandatory strip club meetings Jmart is ****ing ratting on everyone
Pouncey: Lol wow are you serious he is a **** boy
Pouncey: He's not welcome back bro I can't be around that ****ing guy
Incognito: **** that guy if Ur not with s Ur against us
Pouncey: No question bro he's a coward for snitching
Incognito: Snitches get stitches Blood in blood out ****ing guy
Pouncey: He's dead to me

All of this sounds no different than all the guys I played with in H.S. and college.

It looks as if Richie Incognito will be one of the starting guards at Buffalo this year.

He should have played somewhere last year but no one gave him the opportunity.
