I think she's a bit of a hypocrite. Clearly posing nude is a salacious act that would be considered a "sin" in any branch of Christianity.

I don't find any hypocrisy.  She was asked a secular political question and answered it in a secular fashion.  If she had said, "As a Christian," or, "As a Christian who has never sinned," that would be different.  But I see no hypocrisy whatsoever between posing topless and being opposed to homosexual marriage.  <!-- Message ''"" -->

I think there is a disconnect between being religious and posing nude. Maybe it's not hypocripsy but it will cause people to question if she is genuine in her beliefs.

Donald Trump let her keep the crown (I'm not sure how he is the absolute ruler of Miss USA) but his comments were priceless:

"We are in the 21st century. We have determined the pictures taken are fine," adding "in some cases the pictures were lovely."

They certainly are!!!

There's hope for that guy after all.

Also concerning the "religious discrimination" and any legal case, it is not against any law to discriminate based on religion during a beauty pagent.
As I pointed out, Miss USA isn't a beauty pageant. It's a job application. Carrie was discriminated against by the hiring body* specifically because she was a Christian.
I hate that the American people have been duped by the liberal media into misinterpreting this whole situation. People keep calling her the "controversial Miss California". Bullspit. The politics have already been decided. The state she represents already voted on the issue of gay marriage. The people chose to make traditional marriage the law. They selected her to represent them. Therefore, she is not only in the majority on the issue, she has to represent the beliefs of her state (which are now legally defined). She isn't controversial at all. It's Donald Trump who should be on trial (in public opinion). He's the one who erred by including the "controversial" Perez Hilton on the judging committee. If Phil Anselmo had been selected as one of the judges and he asked a black contestant why she listened to that braindead rap music, do you think the media would be attacking the contestant for her answer? Until the infotwisters in the media are brought down, we'll never be able to fix all the problems with this world.

(*As an official voting member, Hilton speaks for the pageant committee. They put the "hiring" of their employee into his hands. And they are responsible for the outcome.)

I don't see any difference between nude and a skimpy bikini. She is still making me desire her either way. She's already flaunting her body in a bikini. She could be in a little black dress or evening gown and I would desire her. The only way to not get a guy to desire her is to cover up like a muslim woman. Women used to be almost compeletely covered at the beach 100 years ago.
Although I hate her because she wouldn't give me the time of day.

Great post Riddlewire! I agree. Hilton is a BIG LOSER.

BTW- I think there is a difference between semi-nude topless photos and full nude Playboy type photos. (Although I support Playboy being legal for adults). One is much more provocative and immodest than the other. As a strong Christian I believe in keeping your pants on (whether your a man or woman) in the presence of the opposite sex unless it is someone you intend to marry.

Too many children come into this world from lustful decisions- one night stands- quick flings etc.- when the people involved didn't intend on bearing a child. I thought I heard a stat recently that more than half of U.S children are now born out of wedlock and many of these mothers aren't ready to take care of a child- especially if the father runs off.

To change the culture people have to see the difference between gratuitous things (in the media) and things done tastefully (or that have redeeming value). When the culture starts to not accept certain things we will be making progress and society will improve for future generations.

This woman said something about her faith currently being important to her. I doubt she will do anymore of these topless photos. But if she does that is completely her decision, but she'll have to deal with some people judging her for it.

I have read that the photos were outtakes. She had no intention of posing nude. The lingerie was, quite obviously, skimpy, and the wind was blowing it off of her intended coverage. Those pics were not published. The photographer (obviously sympathetic to the queer community) dug them out and released them to make her look bad. He was probably supposed to destroy them in the first place.
If this is true, then I demand that every card-carrying actress in Hollywood hold a press conference in support of Miss Prejean. If it happened to them, they'd have the photographer thrown in jail (like Cameron Diaz did).

I just saw the article, and the video about her defending her rights to say what she wants, and what she believes in. She's just earned my to total respect, and I give new found respect for Donald Trump, who stood up with her all the way.

I'm just completely disturbed how those of the LEFT treat her like trash and dirt. She is the right one, they are all wrong. I'm beginning to miss the USA of the yester-years, where anyone (conservative and liberals alike) could do as they please without any backlash of any sort. None of this PC (political correctness) bullsh*ts!!! Shame on on the left, and shame on those liberals!!!!

I read the same thing. Some of these pictures were photoshopped photos and she actually didn't pose nude at all. Just another unfair attack on her by the sodmomites and their low life supporters.

Where did you read that the photo's were photoshopped? If true that is a case of fraud and she has a big fat lawsuit coming her way.

She is young and beautiful and well-spoken enough, which already is far more than Perez Hilton will ever be.

On a basic level he probably envies her youth, enthusiasm, and attractiveness, where as he has only his cynical, angry, bitter gay vitriol with which to satisfy himself -- tearing others down is the way he and his ilk derive their self worth.

On an even more basic level, Hilton probably envies the fact that Miss California is a woman, and not some raging, out of control and repulsive degenerate like he himself is.

I'm not saying she's perfect -- in a lot of ways, she might even fit into the "silly little bimbo" category as so many young women do these days, however she has the advantage in that she is probably a bit more conservative than the next, and less inclined to accept every iota of liberal propaganda spewed at her.

I believe that gays such as Perez Hilton are so wildly defensive and deep down ashamed of themselves that they seek to discredit or make-worse anyone who sees anything inherently disgusting or wrong with their lifestyle. Even if they aren't actually ashamed of themselves, the insecurity and inferiority complex symptoms are all there. So touchy, touchy and defensive!

Really pathetic.

What's even more pathetic is that these scumbags are writing the rulebook nowadays for what is and isn't decent.

The latest on the saga is that the director of the California branch of the pagent has resigned over the issue. She's a big f*ghag who campainged in favor of the gay marriage initiative there (that got trounced). It seems she was upset that they didn't disqualify Carrie P. because she violated the pageant terms by not disclosing the nude pics. Good riddance! Why so many pro-homos in the woman's beauty business?

I can imagine behind the scenes at these shows. Makeup people, hair people, wardrobe people etc. That would mean a bunch of gays fussing and fluttering about the beauties. Then your lesbians working their way in to the mix, for obvious reasons.

Given the surroundings, it took some guts for Carrie to answer that question (which shouldn't have been asked) the way she did. On the other hand I don't think as a Christian girl she should have been there in the first place.

Jaxvid..in answer to your question. I heard her say that on a interview with Sean Hannity(radio), She said some of the photos of her were photo shopped and some were outtakes where it was real windy and the photographer kept taking pictures secretly and catching during those split seconds when the wind hit. She said she has never posed nude for any pictures, but she was obviously kinda pushing the envelope a little bit with those pictures. I am still on her side and wish her the best. She's a full fledged member in the culture war now.

Carrie Prejean was on Larry King the other night and cut the interview short because King was asking questions in areas he had agreed not to go, and began taking calls, which Carrie also said he had agreed not to do. King feigned ignorance. At any rate, Carrie showed gumption in sticking to her guns. She is apparently speaking to conservative Christian groups, which I am glad to know. She is such a lovely contrast to the liberal, feminist bulldykes that tend to get involved in politics. Even if she is a "Judeo-Christian" she is ahugeasset for the good guys in the Cultural War.

It also looks like a sex tape of her playing with herself for an ex-boyfriend is coming out. Scroll about 3/4 of the way down on this site to see the unedited King appearance. It also has something about the sex tape higher up on the page: http://rumorrat.com/

I like the girl but the sex tape and semi-nude pictures plus the breast enhancement kinda goes against the whole Christian thing. She's gonna be a lightning rod for the people that rail against religious people being two-faced.

I notice her Larry King live appearence is big news to the media, it's the featured story on MS homepage.

I watched the interview and the thing that struck me is that she has to be one of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I could turn the sound down and just watch her.

I'm not a huge fan of Carrie (although she has some courage & is quite beautiful), but Larry "King" Zeiger is a par-for-the-course rootless cosmo. A ugly, old, self-important vermin who's been thru seven wives. He's always struck me as a typical Judeo-Bolshevik "Noo Yawka".

Man that supposed "sex tape" was something she did for a former boyfriend. I mean, what people my age haven't either sent/received some form of risque images that we maybe later regretted and forgot about? She obviously never intended for it to be public. Expect more of this type of thing in the future. I'm thinking maybe the hype will die down in the future, because it will be common knowledge that public figures have "humiliating" images from facebook, texts, emails, etc.

I dig Carrie. People forget is only 21 or so. I believe she carries herself with pose and confidence. So what if she sent her boyfriend at the time nude images. If I was her boyfriend at the time, I would have loved it. The prick ex is now just trying to cash in.

I am glad there a still white women like her. Smart, conservative and great looking.

Still a fan of hers. She is extremely beautiful and I did alot of things in my teeenage years and young adulthood that I regret and would never do now. She needs to be more careful on who she choses to be interviewed by and I wouldn't get in a back and forth war of words with Trump because he usually wins that sort of thing whether he is right or wrong. She's 21 or 22 years old and this is alot of heavy stuff to go through at that age with the MSM after her like this. The MSM hates beautiful conservative women like Prejean, Palin, Bachman and Coulter. They will write and say anything to bring these ladies down. This is truly a culture war and I think our side is starting to gain traction and that's these MSM types are getting even more vicious because of it.Edited by: guest301

Undeniable truth of life number 24, Feminism (like that espoused by the MSM) was established so as to allow unattractive (liberal)women easier access to the mainstream of society.

Thanks Westside.

Football Dad. Absolutely right, that is a undeniable truth of life. Most liberal women are unattractive with the exception of that cute Kirsten Powers on Fox.

I never made the connection Don, but they do have identical voices and accents when I think about it.
