I can't believe he actually had the gaul to say this.

But then again maybe it was just an attempt to undermine the dominant white QBs of the game. Whenever race gets injected into anything whites fall apart. Its a cheap psychological tactic used by frustrated blacks time and again to stymie whites who they know will not be allowed to respond in kind to these non-sensical claims.

As for the claim itself; scrutiny from who exactly? The media? Please. No one in the media dares to criticize any black QB. Black QBs adorn the covers of every pre-season football mag despite white dominance at the position. There are many other criticisms but I don't have all day and quite honestly I'm too angry.

When one side sees things so utterly and incomprehensibly different from the other how can there be any community? There can't. There can only be a winner and a loser and competition unto death. The bad will always drive out the good.

Cormac McCarthy said it best: "There is room on the stage for one beast and one alone. All others are destined for a night that is eternal and without name. One by one they will step down into the darkness before the footlamps. Bears that dance, bears that don't"

Oh, and a hardy hello to all of the soon-to-be new Caste Football members who will be dropping by the site. We told you so.

Again, I think the instant problem for McNabb is that a white starting quarterback was traded after one single game just last week.

Around the internet, I have been pointing this out, because people dislike white quarterbacks so much they've already forgotten this happened in Cleveland.

McNabb is a racist from way back. He needs to save the drama for his mama.

Rush was right. Black QBs are beneficiaries of all sorts of preferential treatment from the coaches, fans and press. McNabb should try being a white RB and see how long he lasts.

Hopefully the oaf will lose his job soon as he is now in the same league as Culpepper and Vick.

If McNabb were white he wouldn't be that well known, if at all.

Then again, if he were white and said something like he just did, he'd have already been forced to resign.

Sure he would. He's made 5 Pro Bowls and led his team to the conference championshipfour timesand to the Super Bowl once. He wasone of the better QBs in the league for a half dozen years but he's injury prone and looks to be on the downside of his career already. Warren Moon remains the only black QB to have good longevity. Edited by: Don Wassall

It's true, McNabb was good for a while but lately he seems frustrated and uncaring. There is no passion left in him anymore. He has so many white fans in Philadelphia and I'm not sure if he deserves their support.
When Garcia was the QB at least they had team work like I have never seen on the Eagles. With McFlabb there is nothing but him. He's hurt, probably worse then anyone knows and it's time for him to retire.

I certainly don't disagree that McNabb is a decent, servicable quarterback with a respectable record (barring injuries). That being said, I think if he were white he wouldn't register on the radar so much because competent performance is expected of whites at the quarterback position, and any evidence of less-than-decent play will put a white QB out of the NFL on his ears because there's never any shortage of decent white quarterbacks to replace him.

Truly competent black quarterbacks are in short supply despite what the media will have us believe, so they get more wiggle room in the NFL. And any quarterback who shows capability equal to the average white QB will be treated like Black Jesus.

I'm not sure McNabb would have been selected for five Pro Bowls were he white, either.
