The Bears beat the Saints in the first game on Sunday. That put Lovie Smith in the Super Bowl. As the 2nd game got underway, the possibility of two black coaches in the Super Bowl was one Colt victory away from becoming a reality.

I wonder how many black guys, who previously hated him, became Peyton Manning fans for that game and I wonder how much it must have hurt them to be rooting for him to put a TD drive together late in the 4th quarter. I hope it hurt like hell. I get the sense that Lovie Smith will be the black favorite come Super Bowl Sunday.

He's definitely blacker than Dungy, who they might describe as an Uncle Tom, particularly since he has openly commented .

The Bears also have more blacks in the starting lineup.
