These countries all still have a legacy of white sprinters. I wish I lived in a country where white athletes are respected.

Australia:
For instance in Australia Shrivington holds the 60 meter record with 6.52 seconds. The 100 meter record is held by Irish ancestry on the father's side (Patrick Johnson) with 9.93, although Shirington was faster at a young age, ran a PB of 10.03 with negative wind, and was consistently in the 10.0x range. Johnson only ran sub 10 because he was in Japan on a very fast track, and only did it once. Then the 200 meter record goes to Peter Norman's 20.06 and a silver medal at the Olympic gaames. That is what I call a legacy of white sprinters. Good luck to Aaron Stubbs!

Greece:
Has produced many talented 100 meter sprinters. Nic Macrozonaris is of Greek descent, and I sortof wish he competed for them and not canada. His PB is 10.03 to beat Tim Montgomery with no wind. Kostas Kenteris holds the Greek 200 meter record with 19.85, and won the gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. They had at one point the world record in the 60 meter with a blazing 6.50 seconds by Charalambos Papadias. They have several sub 10.2 sprinters and a NR of 10.11 in the hundred by Angelos Pavlakakis. For their population they may eveen be the fastest country in the world.

Other strongholds are Scotland (Allen Wells), Ireland (Paul Hession), Russia (Andrey Epishin), Poland (Marian Woronin), Italy (Pietro Mennea, Fabio Cerutti), South Africa (Morne Nagel). Outlier sprinters such as Craig Pickering of England and Christophe Lemaitre of France are the only hopes outside of these strongholds.

Opps, I forgot Germany. They have had many good sprinters in Unger and Christian Blum. Also I should technically put Valery Borzov for Russia because he competed for the USSR. If he had been challenged at all during the 1972 Olympics then he would of easily been sub 10.. He ran 10.07 slowing down in the semis.

Nice post starwars. England belive it or not has some more white kids coming up. They are not on the level yet, but may get there. I always wondered what Tim Benjamin could have done if the UK kept him at the 100 & 200 meters. He ran in the 10.40's as a teenager. I can't remember his 200 time but it was fast. Tim has done ok in the 400 but I've always thought that he was moved up to the wrong event. The same thing happens in the US all the time.

Germany is a hotbed for sprinting at the moment. Once a few of these guys take it up another notch, look out! They even have a women at the elite level in the 100. I like what's brewing in deutschland!

Russian has the women sprinters at every level. We just need some of the men to get out of the army and start running. It is mandatory to serve over there. I'll bet many of their finest athletes are soldiers. Andrey Epishin is good but is towards the end of his career. Where are the young guys? They do have a stud hurdler that is only around 19.

Back to England. Belive it or not, Greg Rutherford has run the 60 in the 6.60's range and the 100 in the 10.40's range. His future in the long jump looks bright with that type of speed.

I did know that about Rutherford and was incredibly surprised when I saw a video of him on youtube. That is like the same speed as Carl Lewis as far as the first 60 meters goes.

You are right I left out Germany in the first post, and England appears to be improving.

I've been looking at a lot of 100 meter times in the Olympics and big meets and Valery Borzov might be my favorite athllete. He ran 10.07 slowing down in Munich, and 10.14 easing the end in the final. He was also a 20.0 in that Olympics for his second Gold. The amazing thing is, Munich isn't even that fast of a track!

I would love to see what kind of times Borzov would be running these days. I would take a guess of 9.80-9.90 in the 100 and around 19.70's - 19.80's range in the deuce!

He was a machine. Virtually unbeatable. Borzov and his coach helped invent some of the plymometrics and training methods still used today. They studied track and made it into an art form. If only he would have had many kids. What a shame. Oh well. There is only one Valery Borzov and maybe that is best that it remains that way.

Dude, I've been reading your posts, and I admire your passion for track (it's afavorite sport of mine too)but your accuracy needs some work.

6.41 to 6.50 was run 23times by 9 different sprinters (6.41 to 6.49 was run 15 times), BEFORE Papadias ran his 6.50. Henever even came close to holding the WR.

Also, if Jamaica historically, has 19 sub-10.10 men, and 13 sub-11.10 women, while Greece no sub-10.10 men, and 1 sub-11.10 woman (who was suspended for missing 3 straight steroidtests, and even pulled out of her own country's Olympics to avoid being tested), how could they possibly, even remotely, be considered "the fastest country in the world"?ESPECIALLYin light of having almost 4 timesthe population?Edited by: Boggs

That is weird I had read his 60 meter mark was a world record, but now that I think about it you are right. Still, Morne Nagel was better with his 6.48. And don't forget Mo Greene sent money to a drug lab in North Carolina.

And you cannot deny that Greece has some impressive national records for a small country. They are even better than Jamaica in the 60 meter. But Jamaica recently has shown they are a powerhoouse.

But don't try and say Jamaica Charlie Francis are clean. That is not even woth debating.

While nothing was proven, and Greene denied it, Heredia claimedhe began working with Mo in late 2003 after he began breaking down, and the money was wired in 2004. By then, he was a shell of his former self. Maurice may have been trying to save his adidas contract. That wirewas6 years after his first 6.39 60m, and5 years afterhis 9.79 100m.
I think that may alsobe part of the reasonBolt,Powell, the other elite Jamaicans, Gay,Atkins, and now Dix, and Padgett don't kill themselves during the indoor season anymore. a) there's no money in it, and b) it breaks you down and contributes to injuries (Pickering and LeBlanc), and early retirement.

It may also be the reason those explosiveGreeksnever sub 10'd. They may have been too tired and drained by the time outdoors rolled around.

For you to think that he only cheated at the end of his career is stupidity. He could't even make the olympic team early on. Just like Flo Jo going to super stardom almost over night. Kind of like Tyson Gay and the list goes on and on. Mo was juiced to the gills his whole career. The athletes are almost always a step or two ahead of the testers.

Even in Baseball, lately it's been said that A Rod was juicing back in his college days. So were all of them. Sosa, Giambi, Palmero, and many others.

Just look at Maurice's head. Kind of looks like Barry Bonds. It kept growing to to the combo of roids and long term use of hgh. If you want to support black sprinters, go to another board. We are not here to talk about Mo or Gatlin or whomever every other track board talks about.

We are here to support white athletes and sprinters. Join in or leave before you are banned. I get so tired of newbies coming here and defending these sprinters who have done more roids than Jay Cutler & Ronnie Coleman combined.

The last White man to have a sprint world record in the 60 meter dash was Manfred Kokot who had the world record before Ben Johnson. He was given the world record back when Ben Johnson admitted steroid usage that dated back to 81'. Maurice Greene broke that world record.

according to IAAF statistics Manfred Kokot was the fastest for 23 years at 50 meters with 5.61 in 1973!
only Bailey(A)advantage ,Scott and Maurice Greene have been faster now.

the fastest soccer players run the first 10 meters 1.6 sec
for Example Boldizsár Bodor runs it in 1.60.(soccer is great for your first meters speed)Matt shirvington could easily run that too.
the fastest black was maurice greene(he looks like a typical afro american with like 35-40% white admixture))with 1.69 on first 10 meters during his wr in 99.here you see differences between white and black sprinters.

For you to delude yourself into thinking every fast non-white is juicing is even stupider. I realize you, for some reason, need to believe that nonsense to satisfy your ego.Don't expect, however, everyone else to simply follow suit and agree. It's silly, pathetic, and unproductive.

And for the record, I didn't bring up Maurice.. Star Wars did. Also, he was a college kid in 1996. College kids rarely make the Olympics.

Interesting. I've never seen Bodor's split before. Do you have a link?

Sorry, I cannoot take someone seriously when they say that college kids typically don't make the Olympics. You realize you graduate college when you are 22 to 23, and plenty of sprinters make their mark by then. Craig Pickering made the Olympics at that age, and he has never used roids to run sub 10. Wariner was very successful at that age.

In fact, before roids take over, white athletes are on par with blacks in sprints. Look at Christophe Lemaitre and Wilhelm Van der Vyver. But odds are some black cheater will cheat his way past these guys.

If black people are "the chosen race" then why are whites the best shot putters and high jumpers. Stefan Holm is Swedish and could jump higher than any man in history by far. he was much better than Sotomayor, Thandardt, and Sjoberg because he was shorter.

Steroids are an obvious problem and it has nothing to do with our egos. You are a puppet, and I feel it unfortunate that if you keep postingnegative comments on here and get banned that you will be even more jaded, so I hope that you listen.

Not true Greene dropped out of junior college and was a club level sprinter. He also dropped his pb to 10.0X from 10.4X in 94 at the age of 21. HSI under John Smith has always been rumoured to be a drug fueled sprint camp and has had quite a few sprinters get popped... Anyway welcome back Manifest Destiny, err Kevin Mchale, err Maximus....

It's funny how Boggs brings up the fact that Mo never tested postive despite cashiers checks and money orders made out to the drug house. He never sticks up for Kenteris who was crucified and yet never tested postive. I guess if your white, you are automatically assumed guilty. You do not have a right to an attorney, blah, blah, blah! The Great Double Standard of todays society.

Scotland has had some great sprint talent for a country of only 5 million people.

10.11 Allan Wells 24-july-1980
10.17 Ian Mackie 25-august-1996
10.20 Cameron Sharp 24-august-1983
10.20 Elliot Bunney 14-june-1986

Some day some time in the future, me, star wars and jacknyc need to hang out. You guys are the best. It's rare to find white guys that understand track and actually have a passion for it. Not to take anything away from anyone else. Alot of caste members do a great job posting. Thanks to everyone. You are all my comrades/friends/mates.

It's about time to lace them up.

Don't forget Albinosprint, Watterbed, Europe and Mastermulti. Ya, it's annoying only being able to talk to people that are either blissfully unaware of white athletes and the caste system, or just like to repeat everything ESPN tells them. I'd love to hang, especially at the Olympics or something like that.Edited by: StarWars

To rank the countries on both legacy of white athletes and performance of them with one of their best athletes:

1. Greece- Kostas Kenteris 19.85 200 meter, 10.15 100 meter
2. Australia- Matt Shirvington 10.03 100 meter, 6.52 60 meter
3. Italy- Pietro Mennea 19.72 200 meter, 10.01 100 meter
4. Ukraine- Valery Borzov 10.07 100 meter, 20.00 200 meter
5. Scotland- Allen Wells 10.11 100 meter, 20.21 200 meter
6. Russia- Andrey Yepishin 10.10 100 meter, 6.52 60 meter
7. Germany- Frank Emmelman 10.06 100 meter, 20.20 200 meter
8. Ireland- Paul Hession 10.18 100 meter, 20.28 200 meter
9. Sweden- Johan Wissman 44.56 400 meter, 20.3 200 meter (also have Stefan Holm and Patrik Sjoberg; the two highest clean jumpers in history)

All these countries still have white athletes etched in their history books. If you told these guys white people cannot play soccer because they are too slow they would just laugh. I wish more countries were like this, or at least they admitted that we are all equally fast.

Don't forget Peter Norman of Australia in the 200 meters. He won a medal in the olympics. That guy could run with anyone back in his day.

Norman had an awesome last 100 meters. He would pass so many people.

Richard Kilty ran 21.25 at the Loughborough Invitational. Hopefully he can break 21 this year. If he made the Olympic 4x100 meter team in 2012 with Craig Pickering and got a medal that would be awesome.

I can't understand why you like the Greeks so much, they make the US sprint team look clean!

Kostas Kenteris (10.15 - Drug Cheat), Hristoforos Hoidis (10.14 - Drug Cheat), Anastasios Gousis (10.27 - Drug Cheat), Dimítrios Régas (200m - Drug Cheat) and that doesn't include the women, and I am sure that there are many, many more.

Greg Rutherford is pretty fast, he ran 6.68s at 60m this year, and has a 10.38 PB in the 100m which he ran when he was 19. He ran 10.48 earlier this year to win his race by a clear quarter of a second. Perhaps if he ran more 100m races, well who knows. Incidentally his 60m run this year is the 6th fastest by a Briton, and in the top 40 all time list (for Britain). Idowu's PB at 100m is 10.60s, Edwards was 10.48s but I don't think he ran it much.

You're right about Tim Benjamin, he ran 6.75 aged 18. Then didn't run 60m for 9 years until this year (6.97). His PB at 100m is 10.48 set the same year, he also hasn't run 100m for nine years. His 200m PB is 20.67s which he ran aged 19 in 2001. He's run 200m a couple of times since and his best this year is 20.96s, which puts him in the UK top 10 for this year. Maybe he did move to the wrong event. He's ranked 40th on the UK all time list for 200m, but not bad seeing as he has only run it three times since 2001 (excluding this year). As he's run the 60m and the 200m a few times this year, maybe he has realised himself that he may have been in the wrong event.

For comparison, Dwain Chambers PB at 18 was 10.41s. Williamson's aged 18 was 10.42s. Edgar's was 10.39s. Aryteey's was 10.37s. James Dasaolu's was 10.75s, I think you get the picture. Maybe it is because whites peak earlier? Or just a sure fire bet that blacks will go on to do better?
