I would also like to see themget Dave Herman, KJ Noons, and Nick Thompson.

I hope they bring Nick Diaz back as well. I would love to see a mid-card fight in a future UFC ppv between Noons and Diaz. They hate each other and the Diaz brothers are fun to watch and listen too, although they do come off as street thuggish sometimes. I am still reminded of my little brother everytime I hear Nate Diaz talk. Edited by: guest301

I could see him being the black Butterbean too and fight toughman contests and four round boxing matches only fighting tomato cans with losing records. I am not trying to insult Butterbean who did ok for himself.

Well, I'm not saying that Butterbean would have been a champion or anything, but he did fight while grossly obese, he probably could have gone down at least one weight division. Kimbo doesn't even have that excuse. Wonder how many fights he'd have won with a 50 lbs sack strapped to his midsection?

I would say there is a 5% chance Dana signs Kimbo Slice. For financial marketing reasons and a chance to put him in against any heavyweight in the UFC stable. Because I think any UFC heavyweight would beat him and finish him off for good as any type of main or mid -card event which Dana would like. But all that being said, I think Dana doesn't sign him because he is a embarrassment to MMA, doesn't deserve to be in the UFC and he doesn't want the criticism that would come from the hardcore MMA and UFC fan that would come from such a signing. Maybe the next time the UFC reality show features the heavyweights, Kimbo might get a spot on that show if he had the guts to take it.

Well I am a little prescient here. There is a article out on yahoo MMA today that Dana White has offered Kimbo a chance to be on his reality show "The Ultimate Fighter' one day when they do a heavyweight edition. Dana said "he won't win it" but the offer is out there.

theyaren't doing heavyweights until 2010. By then the WWE will come knocking for Kimbo. The next TUF is U.S. vs U.K. It is going to have 155 and 170lb fighters.

The WWE! Now that would be funny and a very appropiate place for Kimbo. The whole "baddest fighter on the planet" heel gimmick for Kimbo. They already have some black guy named Mark Henry who they proclaim is the "strongest man in the world" even though he finished in 18th place in weightlifting at the Olympics more than a decade ago. Perfect place for Kimbo where reality rarely intrudes on fantasy.

I have some sympathy for Kimbo Slice and I'm happy he got his 15 minutes. A lot of people need to feed their families and everyone wants to make money. Judging by the Petruzelli comments and the suspect exposition of the youtube fights, it would appear that most of his fights were fixed(especially with Shamrock getting injured on the day of the fight.)

You've got to be kidding me! On the Daily Show just now, this second Jon Stewart said, "The only thing Obama didn't do is fight Kimbo Slice!" WTF, please stop with the references to this guy mainstream media! Talk about real fighters.

Ken got 'hurt' so he wouldn't get KO'd again. I think Ken changed his mind and found a 'legit' way out of the fight. As soon as I saw that Petruzzeli was moving up to the main event I knew he could win it. Ken? Not a chance.

I was hoping to see Petruzelli land a couple of late night talk show appearances after his defeat of Kimbo but I guess that was wishful thinking.

UFC President Dana White was on ESPN First Take this morning. The interviewer asked him what Kimbo Slice has done for MMA, obviously expecting the stock answer.

White responded with: "He's done nothing. In fact, he's probably set us back. The fact that he was on the cover of ESPN The Magazine makes me sick. There are so many superior athletes in the sport. He's not a real fighter, not a real mixed martial artist."

My thoughts exactly.

Straight talk from Dana. ESPN broadcasts out of the head office of the NFL so naturally they are shocked when others do not cooperate with their propaganda.

ESPN doesn't think MMA is a real sport that is why they supported Kimbo. ESPN dropped the ball on MMA. They never pursued making a deal to televise any UFC events and I think that is going to hurt them. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the U.S. The rateing for televised events are much higher then that of Friday night fights and MMA merchandise(Shirts and action figures) is selling very well in the stores. Donald Trump, Calvin Aire, Roy Jones, and Mark Cubin and all tring to get in on this Business. Yet ESPN chooses to air these stupid poker shows.
As for Kimbo if the WWE doesn't work out he will probably be on Dancing With the Stars or develope a drug habit and go on Celebrity Rehab.

I think you are right, I could easily see Kimbo doing Dancing with the Stars or some other type of reality show. Maybe some lame reality show on MTV titled" Kimbo Needs Love" and you could have a multi-racial cast of 20 women vying for his affections with a single elimination each week. It wouldn't suprise me at all.

I knew about the kids, not the wife. I guess I assumed he was the typical black male who sired alot of children out of wedlock and was still on the loose. My bad! I wonder how long he stays married when his wife figures out she can get half of his newly found fortune before he squanders it.

Exactly! Glad to see Dana put aside the PC BS and shoot straight on "Bimbo Lice"!

Patriot, right on re ESPN & there endless "Pro Poker" crap. That's no sport, more like a parlor game. ESPN is such pro-caste horse manure anyways.
