In looking at this playerI swear he looks more white than half of my family. His father used to play huggie bear Antonio Fargas. He is adark hispanic althoughI'm not sure where. he is from. Maybe he does not want the leauge to know that he is white in order to stay at the running back postion. what do you say is he the whitest running back than we can root for or does he not qualify because he calls himself black or does any one really know. He sure looks white to me soI say justin fargas may you beone of the many that this leauge needs in order to right many wrongs it has done to the once proud White athlete.

I'd say Fargas is whiter than Goings, not that it matters either way.


At the end of the Bengals-Patriots blowout, Heath Evans came in as New England's tailback. As I said at the time, "When Evans is in there, you know the game has been decided." Sad but true.

I forgot about nick goins he must be white has he even played this year.Very good thought yes nick goins whiter than half of my family for sure. Too much sun from farming makes us all look darker than we really are LOL.

I thought Fargas was white too(before I knew his dad was the actor). What had me wondering if he was black was in interview where he sounded like Eminem. Then I saw his file photo. He definately has a caucasian mother.

His father is very black and his mother is very white.

Fargus made a big commitment to come to Michigan to play at the U of M. He is from So. Cal and was recruited heavily by all of the big California schools but came out to Michigan and really liked it.

Unfortunately his career at UM was disasterous. He was hurt a couple of times and that gave other guys a shot so he was backed down the depth chart. Maybe he was a little too white to run the ball for Michigan. Anyway the kid volunteered to play anywhere so they moved him to safety where he played some but it still wasn't a good move.

He eventually quite the program, sat out a year and played out West. Guess it worked out for him. Good thing he had a black father or he wouldn't have had any kind of a chance.

For the record the pic is of Mark Van Eeghen who had a coupe of thousand yard seasons while leading the Raiders to a couple of championships. One of my favorite players growing up.

backrow: he does have a nice white boy 'fro going on there doesn't he? I noticed Riggens had the same thing.

Maybe that is the secret to success running the football: curly hair!!!

I guess the pressure of the game really wore him down. In this pic he has gone bald, can still run though. that other guy in the pic, what ever happened to him?

Csonka's hair looked OK combed but he had a pretty good mane during the game.

Marv Hubbard looks like he could have had a fro with out too much trouble.

Craig James, had he been playing 10 years earlier would have looked like Van Eeghen

Jim Taylor would have kicked all their asses for being long haired hippies.

I have been watching episodes of Starsky and Hutch recently on the net and noticed that Huggy Bear might weigh 150 pounds soaking wet. It's pretty obvious that Fargas get's his build from his mother. I don't think Antonio on protein shakes and designer roids could weigh much above 180 pounds .
