Johnny Quinn

Green Bay signed the free agent wide receiver (6'0", 202 lbs) who played his college ball at North Texas.

Quinn was a standout player at McKinney High School in Texas where he also excelled in track.

He was signed in May 2007 as an undrafted free agent by Buffalo, but was later released.

Both Brett Swain and Johnny Quinn survived the first round of cuts, they were retained over veteran practice squader Chris Francies. Also released were lazy Deshawn Wynn, part-time starter last year, Ryan powdrell and OL ryan considine, and puy DL bust Justin Harrell on the PUP list.

I think the Packers are going to keep 6 WRs this seasaon, b/c of all the talent there. Johhny Quinn and Brett Swain are probably fighting for the last spot. I think Swain has the edge though. Maybe practice squad for Quinn? Is he eligible for it?
