Federer just lost the year end tourneytelevised on ESPN 2 later today.. He would have tied a season record. It seems he was the favorite to win Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the year. He is my athlete of the year for second year in row---and chances are still pretty good SI will reward him with the honor despite the year end glitch.. Can't think of anyone else more deserving.
