Fantasy Football Openings in CF's Riggins League

There are two teams available in CF's 12 team Riggins League, which is getting ready for its 7th season of competition, assuming the NFL season is played which looks about 99% certain now. The cost is just $10. This is an "old school" league -- no IDP, teams get to keep three players from their roster each year with the rest going back into a common draft. It would be good to have two CFers fill the openings. If interested post in this thread or PM me.

Jaxvid has heroically answered the call. One more owner needed -- who will be the next CF hero?

[SUB]I'd be willing to join the league.

I know I'm new here, but I have extensive experience playing fantasy football and believe I would be a quality addition to the league.

Sounds good, Johnsonville. Please pm me your email address and I'll send you a link to the league and a password for your team.

How do you keep the 3 players so they don't end up in the draft?

Everyone declares who their three keepers are, they stay on rosters while everyone else is thrown back into the draft pool.

There might still be a team available. I'm still waiting to hear from an owner as to whether he'll be returning this season or not. All 16 Lambert League owners are returning from last season which is pretty cool.

I want to keep Brady, Tebow and Angerer.

You don't have a team in the Riggins League, unless you want the one that might be open. In the Lambert League you keep all your players; we'll have a six round rookie/free agent draft, then you cut your roster back down to 35 before the regular season starts.

Rather than being a "quality addition" to the long-standing Riggins League, Johnsonville has apparently abandoned his team.

We need someone to take over his team. We're still early in the draft, you have the unique and fun opportunity to match wits against the likes of jaxvid, Kaptain, GWTJ, Col. Reb and myself. The team is free, someone claim it!

That's a bummer. Can the pick choice for his team be switched to ADP so it's not 6 hrs between picks?

I just sent someone an email about the opening. I don't know if they'll do it though. I definitely second what jaxvid said about ADP, cause it will drag out the draft that much longer.

It has been now. But we want a human owner not a piece of software. It'll be quite a disappointment if not a single CFer will step up.

I have no clue how to play fantasy football but I will give it a try.

Dwid, I sent you a PM on the league last night. I need your response before I can get you set up in the league.
