Glad to hear it.
She's been due for some improvement for a couple of years now.

She's been due for some improvement for a couple of years now.

I've seen her in several post race interviews the last couple of years. She is an amazing sprinter but seems to
have a love of the social life. I think going to night clubs, etc. has slowed down her progression. Hopefully this
new p.b. towards the end of the summer season will remotivate her going into the world champs and for
next summer. I want her to go sub 11 and to win a major medal at a olympics someday. They love her in Poland!

Yes, her body often looks very soft for a sprinter.

Ewa Swoboda won the gold medal in the womens 60 meters today at the 2022 Polish Indoor National Championships. She ran a 6.99 for a new world leading time.
She is only 7/10ths of a second away from the World Record by the Great Irina Privalova. Swoboda will be the favorite at the 2022 World Indoor Champs in 2 weeks
from now. She has a start like I have never seen outside of Privalova who retired many, many years ago.

You are so right, she is shot out of a cannon. Hope she brings the World’s championship home.

Congrats to Ewa Swoboda. She won her 7th Polish National Championship Gold Medal in the Womens 100 Meters. She ran
a time of 11.08 in cold, rainy conditions. Excellent time for her with just about 3 weeks until the 2023 World Championships.

great info update White Lightning ! Lol, you beat me to it by a few minutes. Swaboda is an excellent sprinter and a hotly but I feel she hasn’t reached her best in the 100 or 200. Maybe she should use the same PEDs as her darker opponents ;) As successful as she’s been, I can’t he,p but wonder what she’d do with an elite proven sprint coach instead of the ONE non-sprinter physical trainer that she’s always had.

Ewa Swoboda ran an 11.08 on a wet rainy track into a negative 1.2 wind. That puts her time with the conditions alot lower around 11 flat
or 10.99. Remember earlier this years she ran her p.b. of 10.94 +0.2 wind. If she had a good legal tailwind that day she would have went
in the 10.80's. she is in rare territory and it's great to see her finally starting to break through to the highest levels!

For the Summer of 2023 it was the huge break through year we all all been waiting for. Ewa Swoboda proved she is one of the finest
sprinters in the world. She ran sub 11 seconds three times wind legal and also had times of 11.01 and 11.03. Her consistancy over the
100 meters was as good as just about any female sprinter on the planet. She also made the finals of the World Championships in the
womens 100 meters finishing in 6th. She is now the face of sprinting and track & field for Poland and an role model for the young kids
growing up there. I am so happy for her and I expect her to be just as good or ever better next year at the Olympics!

One last note. Swoboda ran her 10.94 +0.2. Her times of 10.97 and 10.98 in the world champs were into a negative wind! That's talent!

I did not know that Ewa Kasprzyk holds the Polish 100 meter dash record for women at 10.93 (set in 1986).

I thought Swoboda held the record.
