Milne has been a pleasant surprise this year and I am curious to see if both Milne and Wilson both declare or if they both stay. I personally think that Zach Wilson needs to declare as his stock is pretty much through the roof right now and he should take advantage of it.

Agreed. Perhaps i'm being way to optimistic but a smart team would draft them both since they have such incredible chemistry as a wr qb combo.

That would make too much sense! I have to say Wilson grew on me this season with the leap he made over the course of the year. He reminds me a bit of Aaron Rodgers with his playing style.

Anyone else watch the Iowa Vs Wisconsin game yesterday? What's everyone's opinion on Mertz?

I like him but he's definitely looked like a freshman since having the game of his life against Illinois. Also interesting to note that Paul Chryst hasn't been calling plays this season, Joe Rudolph has. Anyways it's not a big deal as this has been a wasted season with 3 games cancelled because of colds.

Be interesting to see if Coan comes back and battles it out with Mertz or tries his luck in NFL. As I was really high on him. Reminds me a bit of Alex Smith, can run a bit and throw. Accurate and doesn't turn it over.

Also Riley Moss had a great game locking up Wisconsin's sad excuse for a WR corp. Even the announcers were calling him shutdown.

Mertz looked like a world beater in Wisco's 1st game of the season. Hard to say if all the covid stuff pretty much through Wisconsin into disarray. The positive thing is that Mertz still has all his eligibility - I think a competitive QB battle in spring and fall camp between Coan and Mertz is the best option.

Agreed on the QB Battle. It's hard to gauge with all the craziness of this year and season.

Looks like the Big Ten is trying to cover their ass and extending Big 10 play for another week which is not the worst thing. One more time to see Funk and Horvath!

Michigan is scheduled to play Iowa for the Big Ten's Championship weekend.
The entire new slate got announced on Sunday, including Michigan versus Iowa. Michigan have not played in a couple weeks now, while Iowa run red hot with a six-game win streak. The other matchups in the Big Ten weekend include: Nebraska vs Rutgers, Purdue vs Indiana, Ohio State vs Northwestern, Minnesota vs Wisconsin, Illinois vs Penn State, Michigan vs Iowa, and Michigan State versus Maryland. The Nebraska vs Rutgers and Purdue vs Indiana games will both be played on Friday, while the rest will be on Saturday.
