Well it's about time! A head coach has finally put his foot down concerning the thuggish behavior of one of his players. Sure it's a white punter but any day soon one of the many violent black criminals in the league may actually receive some discipline. It's good to know the Broncos are cracking down on bad behavior, this incident and the David Kircus affair are a sign the team is getting tough (on whites).

from the NEWS:
It was refreshing to hear Broncos coach Mike Shanahan say he cut punter Todd Sauerbrun for being rude to police officers who arrested him for hitting a cab driver.

"The bottom line was, the way he treated the police officers, not to get into the situation that happened with the taxi cab driver, but the way he talked to the officers and the way he handled that situation was very un-professional," Shanahan said. "The police officers here in Denver have done an unbelievable job for us, working with the Darrent Williams case, they've just been very good. For him to handle himself that way, in that situation, was uncalled for. That's why he's not with us."

Amazing. In the NFL, whites are certainly held to different standards than blacks.

That's pretty damn funny, sad, but funny.

How does a guy like Shanahan sleep at night?

The fact that one of his players DIED because he was a thug, and he invokes his name as some sort of rationale for screwing over Sauerbrun says a lot about the character of this jerk. I hope his Broncos teams continue to underperform for him until his reputation as a coach is destroyed. Without Elway, Shanahan is less then competent.

It's a combination of pandering, white guilt and self-loathing, and fear that leads so many whites in authority to act this way. And also more than a dash of deliberate intent to pick on white players, because they can with impunity. Edited by: Don Wassall

It's also because he is punter who viewed as utilitarian. Kickers and Punters might be the last players that are treated like 60's players....

how exactly do you know that darrent williams was a "thug"? he wasnt involved in the altercation that lead to the shooting. the guy gets shot in the neck while texting his mom after attending kenyon martins birthday party, all because someone else got into an altercation that night with someone in a gang, and now darrent williams was a "thug". that was a sad day for me, i was a big fan of williams.

If you will read the posting guidelines, you'll see that this site is for those who do agree that there is a caste system in sports.

Seriously, this dude is so annoying. His posts are meaningless, his sentences are grammatically pathetic, and he seems to have a gay love for the Broncos.

Hey loser, wake up to reality....neither the NFL or "your" Broncos could give a sh*t about you or any of their fans. Why? It's called "money," you can use it to buy things. All they care about is passing off overrated black bums currently playing the most boring, baffoonish, and fundamentally worst football in NFL history.

All the NFL cares about is if brainwashed little tools such as yourself are "entertained." Haha, I can see you now, oiking with your friends about the good old days of your all-black Bronco defense.

Ok i watch like 5 bronco games a year on tv and buy no merchandise, but all of a sudden im a brainwashed tool who throws his money away on broncos related things. i guess... never thought somebody would find it weird that a person would discuss his favorite team on a football message board.

bluengold, needless to say, this is not your typical football website (and thankfully so). We don't follow the status quo, rather we vigorously fight against the establishment.

The Life and Times of Brandon Marshall, cont.

Check out the comments at the end of the article. The first drunk white fan downplays the pattern of beating his girlfriend and says Marshall is a choir boy compared to Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, and Tank Johnson. Then drunk white fan number two scolds drunk white fan number one for not including Bill Romanowski with Jones, Henry and Johnson.

Mike Shanahan is fast becoming one of Jack Del Rio's chief rivals as the NFL's most pro-Caste coach. Here is a brief story from today's Rotoworld:

Speaking at a celebrity golf tournament, Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan defended Brandon Marshall and remains confident the star wide receiver will stay out of trouble.Shanahan referred to Marshall as "a real good kid" and that he "feels good where Brandon's at." Despite a now-lengthy and varied rap sheet, Shanahan blamed most of Marshall's problems on a troublesome relationship with his ex-girlfriend. The Broncos obviously won't suspend Marshall, but the NFL is still investigating and no decision has been made.

Gee, I wonder if "hard liner" Roger Goodell will do something about this chronic offender? Marshall has been in trouble on a regular basis, but his idiotic coach labels him "a really good kid." Could the standards for black behavior be any lower? Shanahan cut a white punter for almost nothing, and threatened to cut David Kircus over a single incident, yet no matter how many times Marshall gets in trouble, he is ready to defend him.

It is truly impossible to like anyone in today's NFL.

What a mindless thug:

DOUGLAS COUNTY DEPUTIES NO STRANGER TO MARSHALL'S HOME

PUBLISHED JULY 28th, 2008

EDITOR'S NOTE: As word of this article has spread, some outlets have misinterpreted one fact presented in this report. Three people were given protection by a stalking restraining order from Fulton County Superior Court. ONE, and ONLY ONE protective order was issued. That one order, however, gave protection to three different individuals.

For roughly 2 years since being drafted by the Denver Broncos, Brandon Marshall has been living in a quiet Highlands Ranch suburb in unincorporated Douglas County.
CompleteColorado.com is first to report that during that time, Douglas County Deputies have been dispatched to, or have taken 911 calls for Marshall's home no less than 6 times.

In all but one of those instances, no police report was filed.

Additionally, CompleteColorado.com is first to report that Marshall also had his
driver's license suspended in August of 2007 in Orange County, Florida. The DL suspension came after a traffic ticket for excessive speed. The Broncos wide receiver has multiple traffic offenses in Florida. It is unknown at this time if the driver's license suspension was carried out, and if so, for what length of time. However, it still places a new context around the fact that Marshall has accumulated 28 points of driving charges here in Colorado all within 12 months of suffering a driver's license suspension in Florida.

CompleteColorado is also first to report that three individuals were granted (via a single judgement),
a temporary protective order against Marshall for stalking. None of those individuals were Marshall's ex-girlfriend, Rasheeda Watley.

When the Douglas County Sheriff's Office was presented with the fact that Deputies were dispatched 6 times, and no report was filed in 5 of those instances, DCSO spokeswoman Cocha Heyden said, "It essentially comes down to that no matter what the call for service, if our deputies arrive and can find no evidence of a crime then it is unlikely that a report would be written..."

Incident #1, February 14th, 2007<BR
Douglas county deputies went to Marshall's home to service a warrant. It is unknown at this time what or whom the warrant was for.

Incident #2, July 3rd, 2007.

Deputies were dispatched to Marshall's home in response to a harassment call. Dispatch notes indicate that a security guard "threatened to kill" a Denver Bronco, whose name was redacted in the dispatch notes obtained by CompleteColorado. But because Marshall's name is NOT redacted in the report, it follows that the individual that was threatened was not Marshall. However, the dispatch notes indicate that someone at the scene (perhaps even Marshall) wanted to keep either the unknown Bronco or Marshall out of any official report. Deputies were dispatched, but no complaint was taken or filed.

The Douglas County Records Office informed CompleteColorado.com that the 911 tapes of this incident are unavailable because tapes are only archived for one full year.

Incident #3, November 19th, 2007.

Deputies were dispatched to Marshall's home to serve an arrest warrant on an individual named Carl Carrell. CompleteColorado.com has learned that Carrell is a close friend not only of just Brandon Marshall, but also of the wider Marshall family. Court documents indicate that Carrell is also a business partner of Marhsall's brother, Fredrick.

Carrell was wanted for an incident on November 12th, 2007 in which police allege that he beat his ex-girlfriend in the parking lot of a gas station in Lone Tree. The police report also alleges that Carrell dragged his ex-girlfriend along the parking lot pavement to the point that the woman's elbows became bloodied. The report goes on to say that cops could not find Carrell after he fled the scene. He was charged with 2nd degree kidnapping, 3rd degree assault, careless driving, and domestic violence.

One week after the alleged incident, Douglas County Deputies were able to arrest Carrell at Marshall's residence sometime between 6 and 7 in the evening. Court records indicate that Carrell has since pleaded not guilty to the array of charges, and is scheduled for trial in early September.

Mr. Carrell has also recently (August, 07) pleaded guilty to refusing the order of an officer, and had an assault case against him dismissed in 2006.

Wow- thanks for posting this, Don.

If this isn't enough to make Roger Goodell take notice, I don't know what will. Of course, Goodell is probably busy figuring out the details of the harsh punishment he will inflict on Matt Jones.

Brandon Marshall the thug was recently acquitted of criminal charges in Atlanta. Surprise, surprise! Seeing black affletes acquitted and having serious charges dropped against them is as predictable as them being arrested in the first place.
Now Marshall is demanding a trade again. This two-legged piece ofgarbage has been arrested how many times yet still gets a blank check to keep on acting like a prima donna with nary a peep from the same media and fans who crucify Matt Jones. There used to be ways to deal with people like Marshall, both on and off the field, but now that white men have been neutered moronic thugs like Marshall run wild.

Brandon Marshall sounded off after Wednesday's practice, admitting he's "not even close" to knowing the playbook.

<DIV =s_pNewsTextMain>After pouting on the sidelines and not participating in normal reps during 11-on-11 drills, Marshall re-emphasized that he's not happy with the Broncos. He insists that he's never asked for more money (only a trade) and believes the team has betrayed him. While Marshall admitted the relationship may be irreparable, he also seem resigned to playing out the 2009 season in Denver: "I'm a Bronco and all I can do now is do my best to get in my best football shape and be that player I was the past three years."

Pea-brained Brandon Marshall was left back in Denver for tonight's game in Seattle. Stokley and Eddie Royal are the starters. This creep continues to do everything he can to follow Cutler out of Denver. He may not get his wish but if he does Stokley should be used heavily in the team's new offense this year along with Tony Schleffler.

Stokley looks great, as always. However, he has to compete for playing time with career nonentity Jabbar Gaffney. What a joke this guy is- years of being one of David Carr's "weapons" in Houston have trained him to do what he does best; nothing. He dropped a sure TD pass, but that's unlikely to sway egonaniac McDaniels from putting him ahead of Stokley on the depth chart. Stokley has always been a great weapon, but other than a single season with the Colts, has never been used properly.

Actually, we should be at least a little thankful to Gaffney. He had not one but two of the most pitiful drops ever seen in a 2006 playoff game, being in large part responsible for the Patriots losing. After that season, Bill Belichick had the sense to go after Wes Welker (and Randy Moss) to give the team actual professional receivers instead of the group of sad sacks they had been using. Otherwise Welker may well be out of the league by now as he was always on the verge of being cut by the Dolphins even though he was very productive for them.

But yeah, it's a joke how these nondescript, hands of stone, black journeymen are recycled over and over at WR, RB and every other position.

gaffney also cost the Pats a game in the regular season this past year. he dropped a ball that was prefectly thrown to him in the Colts game. Had he caught it, the result would have been an easy touchdown. Also if the Pats had won that game they would have been 12-4 and they would have recieved a play off spot. It is just easier for the DWFs to remember David Thomas' personal foul call that cost them 15 yards. Edited by: green fire317
