Kind of an interesting one...Jeff Kinney (recently mentioned in the White RB - 100 Yard Games thread) has a grandson that was just given a walk-on opportunity at Nebraska.

From last month's 4A championship game at Mile High Stadium in Denver, CO...Kinney steals 4A show as MVP

Once again though, another White player denied an FBS scholarship, which baffled his high school head coach (but not us here at CF), according to the linked article.

While reading the article, there's mention of another player on the same team that went over 2000 yards rushing for the year, but again, no FBS scholarship at all...unwanted by in-state FBS programs Colorado, Colorado State and Air Force. The article states that he's also walking on at Nebraska.

Not a whole lot of notable commits lately, but this one just came through:

4-Star DB commits to Washington.

Also, just the other day I saw a 3-star WR commit to GA Tech (their only White '19 recruit), but now he's not listed with him and I can't find him anywhere. I was going to link to him as well, but he's now been flushed down the memory hole...can't find him anywhere.

Asa Turner was torn between Notre Dame and Washington and ended up sticking with Washington because ND wanted him at linebacker and he tried it at a camp and did not feel comfortable or natural at the position. Washington wants the big 6’4” 215lbs Turner at safety, could be Taylor Rapps replacement. Would love to see a white guy of that size roaming the defensive backfield for a big time school like Washington.

Wisconsin adds a 6'4 185lb WR in Cooper Nelson as a walk-on. His dad, Scott, was a starting Safety on the 1994 Rose Bowl Championship Team. Talented prep career in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Cooper racked up over 1800yds as JR and SR.

Also added Dante Caputo. 5'11 185 SS from North Alleghney, PA. Cousin of Mike Caputo.

Keep an eye on Jackson Kollath. Another LB walk-on. 6'2 230lbs. Ran a 4.6 at Badger Camp. But he is a rural Wisconsin kid so lightly recruited.

Don't know if anybody has mentioned the UL-Lafayette Ragin Cajun's c/o 2019 who've netted a very impressive 3 white WR's, 1 FB/RB, and 1 WDE via 247! They may have made the biggest 180 in caste terms of any D1 team this year.

ATH Brandon Legendre 5'9 180 who's being recruited as a WR is the 82nd ranked ATH with a 4.53. https://247sports.com/player/brandon-legendre-46052937/

WR Jacob Bernard 5'10 193 of Lakeshore HS in Mandeville, LA is the 178th ranked WR listed with a 4.59 40. https://247sports.com/player/jacob-bernard-46050951/

WR Peter LeBlanc 6'2 170 of Catholic HS in New Iberia, LA is only ranked the 219th best WR but still has 3-stars.

Utility RB/FB Nick Ralston 6'1 240 a Sr. transfer from Arizona St, was a 3-star RB out of HS in 2015 ranked the 125th best RB in the nation. As a Fr. in 2016 he accumulated 33 att for 149 yds and 3 TD's, but was used sparingly the next 2 seasons.

WDE Andrew Gleason 6'3 230 for West Monroe HS in West Monroe, LA, is a 2-star recruit ranked the 154th best WDE in the nation.

There's still quite a bit of ranked players goin under the radar even on here, listed below are some guys that could make impacts early on:

RB commit West Virginia Owen Chafin 5'8 185 gets play for his home state. The #12 prospect in WV Chafin had 3 offers choosing WVU over Navy and Old Dominion.

S commit to Washington St Gatlin Grisso 5'11 190 going to Washington from Aubrey, Texas is getting recruited to play DB. Listed with a 4.50 40 on 247, He 8 offers including UL-Monroe, Southern Miss, and Texas St.

3 star ATH commit to Vanderbilt JR Tran-Remo 6'1 205 from Birmigham, AL is being recruited to play RB, so he's one to watch. Ranked the #149th ATH he hauled in a whopping 29 offers from mostly C-USA and Sun-Belt schools

3 star S commit to Michigan Caden Kolezar 5'10 190 out of St. Edward HS in Lakewood, OH. Decomitted from Bowling Green to play at his father's alma matter, he held 6 offers including Akron, Army, and Dayton.

Five more guys to watch

Chandler Byron- Plays QB for Monroe Area High School in Georgia. He rushed for 1,813 yards and 24 TDS. Also threw for 1,749 yards and 24 TDS. That's the definition of dual threat. Very quick and fast. He currently has no offers. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8075291/Chandler-Byron

I posted about this kid awhile ago and wondered what happened to him. I thought from his high school film he was a complete stud. I stumbled across the article. It makes me wonder how many white kids don't play football because they don't see a future in it. Chandler had many opportunities apparently and turned them down. Reminds me of Caimin Hayes an athlete from this past years class who had opportunities and turned them down. If maybe bigger schools had wanted them or they felt like they had a real future in football. I know I have come across kids who don't play football and say "white kids don't play football". Such a shame the brainwashing that has occurred.
