Notre Dame's WHITE CB recruit this year. This guy has 4.40 flat speed. He was offered by Ohio State and even though he is from Youngstown has always liked ND so he went there. Though it would have been nice for a heir to Dustin Fox at CB. I remember reading an interview he did on bucknuts.com about how he said "its hard to be recruited being a white CB". Nice to see this kid stand up and tell it like it is unlike some other people(Dustin Fox).

That's great news. Tom Zbikowski, who is one of Notre Dame's starting safeties, was recruited to play safety rather than cornerback even though he runs a 4.3 40. Maybe this is a harbinger of good things to come from the new Charlie Weis regime, and with Notre Dame's national following McCarthy succeeding at CB might help more whites get recruited at the black-only positions.

Sometimes I wonder if it helps us more to fight the
system with these kids playing offense or defense.I will
root for them regardless.Zbikowski could have been a
great wide receiver from what I have heard.You have to
love that name.I guess the c.b. postion would be my
choice on defense because we need some more Sehorns.The
only thing almost as rare as a white cornerback is
obviously a white running back.

as well as a safty/corner zbikowski is also a very good boxer. I had a pretty good amature record and if football doesn't work out for he is couldalways go back to boxing.
