I was just wondering, this kid was ranked #2 HS running back in the state of PA by Scout.com. Does anyone know are there comparable white kids in the state? And why why not are they ranked lower (assumption)?
"Meadville (Pa.) High School running back Journey Brown, who set a state record in his junior year by rushing for 722 yards in a game, announced on Twitter he has made an oral commitment to Penn State for the freshman class starting the fall of 2017.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Brown, who won the PIAA Class AAA 100-meter championship last year, chose the Nittany Lions over Temple and Syracuse.

Brown was ranked as Pennsylvania’s No. 2 running back in the 2017 class by Scout.com. Both Scout and 247Sports.com gave him a 3-star rating.
Brown rushed for 2,791 yards and 45 touchdowns this past season at Meadville. He finished his career with 7,027 rushing yards and scored 103 TDs on the ground.
Brown is the 19th player to commit verbally to Penn State. Four of them already have enrolled at the university. National Signing Day is Feb. 1.
