Following the legal troubles of a Russian goalie for the Avalanche on domestic battery charges, the kindly Cultural Communists at Sports Illustrated have seen fit to run a piece on "NHL Players and the Law," you know, because of the alarming rate at which White athletes keep getting arrested. Curiously though, only 14 hockey players are listed (one of them black), and their arrests date back to 1987! Fourteen arrests is about an average month for black NFL players. Talk about desperation to try to equate White athletes to the rampant criminality of black ones.

I don't see any reason why the difference in crime rates would be different among athletes. My guess is that athletes in general are more likely to be involved in crimes, and that the difference between black and white athletes would mirror that of the general populace. I seriously doubt that there's a sociology student somewhere working on that research as her (hahaha) masters thesis.

careless boating? seriously hah, thats a big reach. Along with the "domestic violence" that got thrown out by the judge because his wife called 911 after a player ripped the door off the hinges during an argument. Not a crime, and the judge didn't think so either.

at first glance when you say going back to 87 doesn't seem like that long, but then I realized its 2013 and 2003 was a decade ago.

Notice how a good deal of the ones that actually got arrested for something say it was a turning point in their life and they changed for the better? except for the one coke head. How often does that happen with black athletes? or blacks in general?

How often do they say it? 100% of the time at sentencing! Hahaha! I know what you mean, just joking.
