Why is the UFC putting Heath Herring against Norgueira? Norgueira's already beaten him twice. Herring lost his first fight in the UFC. Shouldn't they feed him a can so he can get back on the winning track?

Herring doesn't qualify as a can at this point?

The last can they brought in KO'd Cro Cop. I'd say Herring is more of a sure thing to lose to Nog than an unknown with a decent record right now.

Besides, Herring is also semi-famous, so the UFC really loses nothing if Herring wins.

I have been extremely disappointed in Herrings recent performance's. I think the UFC brass is setting this fight up to more or less showcase Noguiera. Minatauro is probably one of the top 5 heavyweight submission guy's out there and his boxing is pretty sharp too. I don't see Herring going the distance with him and I would imagine the UFC might cut Heath loose after the loss. I know I certainly would.

I'd not say Herring's a can, but he doesn't seem to want to dedicate to BJJ and/or take-down defense...which will hurt him against Nog. I think Herring needs to go to K-1 so he can train/fight striking only. Just my 2 cents worth.
